A young girl (Connelly) wishes that her baby brother would be taken away by the Goblin King (Bowie). She must go through a large Labyrinth to rescue her brother

We don't use a whole lot of canon characters in our stories - except for Jareth - because we find it more fun to just use the Labyrinth universe.
