"My intention as an artist is to make it palatable for us to look at what we cannot see - our behavioral legacy, our cultural predisposition towards polarization, violence and unconscious behavior. For a long time I have explored and tested many techniques of healing. Untill I finally accepted the core necessity of first noticing and then unlearning the ways of thinking, feeling and reacting that I had grown up with, that were reflections of a overbearing cultural dysfunctional negativity. Thisi has been the foundation of my personal happiness. I realize that I'm no better nor worse than anyone else, that in some ways we are all the same ....... my songs are the sense that my experience is valid and that may be of interest to some, as much as the stories of other peoples experiences may have inspired my path. I don't subscribe to a force of evil struggling with forces of goodness - it is simply a question of having an awareness of what works, that only comes from observation." |
