Now that powerhouse Zeke and their label Epitaph have parted ways, Zeke is out to bring down the house. And that’s just what they do with Death Alley. This is Zeke’s most ambitious and powerful album to date.

They borrow a little more than a bit from the godfathers of Heavy Metal, Motorhead. There are times when vocalist, Mark, sounds like a dead ringer for Lemmy. This is a good thing. Now speed up Motorhead to inhuman speeds and add even more aggression and you know what Zeke is sounding like. The songs are still about satan, cycles, bloodlust, women and rednecks but they have changed their focus to more of a hardcore metal sound.

Zeke has been pumping out the heavy stuff since 1993 but somehow along the way they have gotten so much heavier and harder. You get 16 tracks and not one track is lacking in their trademark energy.

This album kicks ass!.
