Murray suffers from the double headed trauma of being Welsh AND a Liverpool fan. And studying sociology. But that's three. He will soon trade in his Flying V (How rock) for a Chino-esque Esp SG as seen above. (This will probably leave non-guitarists scratching their heads. Suffice to say, I'll be nicking it regularly). Murray, having only 6 hours of lectures a week, is a lazy bastard, but we forgive him. Sometimes. He will also argue for weeks about the supremacy of ISS over FIFA. That we do not forgive..
Murray would probably like to recommend : Muse, Radiohead, Elbow, Korn, Linkin Park, Tool, The Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, PJ Harvey, The Cure, Idlewild, APC, and a few others I can't be bothered to find out about yet. It'll have to wait.
I thought that seeing as this about me and all, I might offer some input, that way the page might actually bear some vague resembalance to me.
I'd just like to set the 'recommends' section straight firstly, as presumably Mal was asleep at the moment that our friendship reached the "So what music do you listen to?" stage. I mean Linkin-fucking-Park! Murray recommends/listens to/is influenced by: Tool, Radiohead, System of a Down, Deftones, the Cure, Nirvana, APC, Glassjaw, Grandaddy, ATD-I, the Pumpkins, Portishead, Rage, Elbow, Muse, and VAST and Cold's debut albums.
Despite having his innocence proved, the media scrutiny that followed the trial led Murray to lock himself away in his secluded mountain laboratory. The subsequent discoveries of Penacillin and Frosties failed to provide the answers he was looking for, and the Nobel Science award was merely a distraction. So he picked up a guitar and learnt a 'C' chord.
The Oasis back-cataloge mastered, he turned to rock music for inspiration, and one quater of Headrush was born.
Murray now fulls his time with charity work and golf. And throwing stones at puppys.
