Hello to anyone who has taken a moment to find out a little bit about me. Welcome to Jessica's world. :) For this fine band I play bass, and as is currently planned, a bit of violin as well. As far as my music history goes, I played piano when I was 9 or so, for about 6 months -- enough to remember which keys are which notes; I was a first chair violinist for about 6 years in an orchestra; spent a year and a half in guitar classes and doing some playing on my own; and now I am the bassist. Such a speckled history. 

Now, for the basics: 

o Full Name: Jessica Elizabeth Payne Secrist 

o Birthday: August 12, 1983 in Kansas City, Missouri 

o I currently live in Lenexa, Kansas, though I'll soon be moving away from home. 

o Looks: Obviously, there are pictures, but I'm 5'5'', 128lbs, green eyes auburn-brown hair near my shoulders. 

o I'm concurrently enrolled in highschool (I'm a senior, cheer for me damnit), and at JCCC as a freshmen in college. Next year I'll either be finishing my associate's degree at JCCC or KU. 

o When I'm not at school, doing homework, or other things I probably shouldn't mention, I'm working as a waitress, collecting your spare change. Five dollar bills and higher are preferred. 

o I'm into playing sports, not too much watching -- but I'm into soccer, martial arts, running, and swimming.

Hmmmm. What else should I tell you about me? I'm not a religious person, but I do have morals... I consider myself a really good friend. I'm always there, even when I can't be (if that makes any sense). I love animals... I have 4 dogs and 2 cats, though I'm looking for a new home for the kitties because we had to move. I write a lot -- stories, songs, poetry, even screen-plays. One of my favorite things to do is sit at a restaurant or in a coffee shop and talk about odd, random things. It makes me happy.
