The name "Norton" was common in the Dow Settlement and is remembered by a 90-year-old descendent as the maiden name of Enoch's wife Ruth, although it took some time for her to recall it. Buried in the Lower Meductic Cemetery in Canterbury (between Highway 2 and the St. John River).
