The key to the identity to the Leet and Owle families might be through her. Because her daughter Mary was often mistaken as "Mary Chadwick," there have been many revelations about this family, although the name "Owle" appears to be only one informed persons theory. Other theories point out that daughter Mary was probably born before Elizabeth's marriage to Isaac (or Daniel) Leet and therefore her father was probably someone unknown. There may have even been two marriages before her marriage to Mr. Leet.
