Chapter Thirty Six

~*~The Next Day~*~

"Uhhh..." I sighed loudly, rolling over in the heavenly piles of down comforters and satin sheets that sprawled around me on the king size bed.

Keeping my eyes tighly closed, I heard the swish of the floor-length curtains being opened. "Nooo..." I whined, recognizing Justin's routine way of waking me up.

The hot Orlando sun stung me directly across my eyes, and I whipped the sheets over my face to block the bright rays.

"Justin, please? Five more minutes?" I pleaded through the slick material covering my face.

"Come on, baby. Ya gotta get up," Justin replied, his weight returning to the bed.

"Nooooo..." I moaned, turning onto my back.

"Yessss..." Justin mimicked, and I felt his knees on either sides of my hips, straddling me.

I tugged on the sheets harder, pulling them closer against me. Justin laughed and grabbed the sheets before I could secure myself under them any more.

"Come on, girl. Pleeease?" he pleaded, and I could see his blue eyes close to my face through the fabric between us.

Sighing, I closed my eyes and loosened my grip on the sheets, allowing Justin to slowly pull them down from my face. One by one, as he uncovered them, I felt Justin sprinkle his soft kisses upon my forehead, eyes, nose, lips, and finally my chin.

"Mmmmm..." I smiled, pulling my arms from underneath the covers, and above my head. Justin immediatly reached up with one hand and linked his fingers with mine. He held our hands above us as his smile found mine once again, and his tongue slipped between my lips.

Justin giggled against my mouth as I rolled us over, tangling myself in the covers even more. I reached down to find the elastic on Justin's pajamas.

"You know, Shell, we really should be getting downstairs..." Justin said as I swiftly pulled a borrowed wifebeater of his off of my torso. I then lifted up his shirt and began to drop kisses around his belly button, "Oh God, girl..." Justin forgot about his plight and helped me pull off his T-shirt.

As I flung the fabric to the floor, Justin wrapped a hand around the back of my head and drew my face to his, re-connecting our lips with a moan.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Oh shit..." I whispered, placing both hands on Justin's cheeks and pulling away from our kiss.

Justin sighed, "You'd think we'd be safe since we picked the ONLY bedroom on the third floor."

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Crap... did you lock the door?" Justin whispered with wide eyes.

"I didn't know there was a lock..." I returned his frightened gaze.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

"Aw, fuckin' A..." Justin mummbled as I climbed off of him quickly and he struggled to sit up.

"GUYS?! You awake?!" JC called loudly from the other side of the un-locked door.

"Shit, shit, shit..." I whispered in a panick, diving into the covers to find the wifebeater I had removed.

Justin rolled over, pulling half of the covers with him, and fell to the floor, knocking over the clock-radio with a crash.

"What was that?!" JC asked, hearing the chaos. My eyes flung to the door, where I saw the knob turning. I grabbed the lone thin sheet that was left on the bed and threw it around me just as JC burst through the door.

"What the hell happ-" JC came to a halt in the middle of the bedroom as he saw nothing but my head peeking out from under the single sheet.

JC paused, raising an eyebrow in confusion, "Where's Justin?" he asked.

"Right here, ya fool," Justin grummbled from the floor, as his hand reached up and plopped the still in tact clock radio back onto the night-stand. I laughed as Justin pulled himself to his feet and tugged up his pajama bottoms in the process.

JC's eyes moved back and forth from me to Justin, connecting the blankets on the floor, Justin's pants, and my obvious hiding underneath the sheet, "Dude, y'all really should lock the door sometimes, cause-" JC looked down at his feet as Justin cut him off with a loud sigh.

"OKAY, JC. What in the hell was so DAMN important that you had to bust in here?" Justin asked, kicking the covers from around his feet, and picking them up to replace on the bed.

JC chuckled to himself before lifting his head back up, "Nothin' really... Your mom just wanted me to get y'all for breakfast."

I joined JC in laughing, while Justin rolled his eyes.

"Well, I think my job is done, and my lady, who KNOWS how to lock bedroom doors, awaits me, so I'll see you guys downstairs..." JC sauntered out of the room and exited just as Justin threw a pillow at JC's head.

"MISSED ME!" JC yelled from down the hallway as the pillow flew through the door and out of the room.

I pulled the sheet around my shoulders and started to laugh again as I got on my knees and crawled towards the side of the bed where Justin still stood.

"Poor baby..." I smiled, wrapping my arms around Justin's bare upper half.

Justin pouted, "I liked it better when he was depressed all the time."

"Awwww..." I placed one hand on top of Justin's head, ruffling his curls, "Would it make you happy if I told you that we can lock the door right after breakfast?" I asked, lightly rubbing Justin's nose with mine.

Justin's frown remained painted on his face and he looked away stubbornly, "I'll have to think about it."

I pulled my face back from his, "Oh really?" I smirked.

"Yep..." Justin looked up thoughtfully. I reached for his chin, grazing it my fingertips, and then lips. I slowly moved my tongue to Justin's earlobe, licking in swirls. I trailed it down his goosebump filled neck as Justin's chest began to heave in and out. Reaching around his back with my hands, I slid them down his smooth skin and underneath his pants.

Justin let out a loud groan, and I felt his hard-on press against me as I nibbled on his earlobe.

I grinned and softly licked his lips, "Done thinking yet?"

"Huh?" Justin replied with closed eyes and a dazed look.

I laughed and pecked his nose, "Sometimes you're just too easy, baby."

"Me? Easy?" Justin giggled and wrapped his arms tightly around me, pressing his lips to mine.

"Mmmm-hmmm..." I said, trying to halt Justin's kisses.

"Justin, everyone's waiting for us downstairs," I finally escaped, climbing off of the bed and walking to my suitcase to find some thing to put on.

"So you get me all excited and then tell me to go to breakfast?" Justin sulked.

I laughed, sweeping a few stray hairs from my face and putting on some pants, "I said we could lock the door right after breakfast, remember?"

"Promise?" I felt Justin's warm body against my back, as he wrapped an arm around my waist and I pulled on a tank top.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Not again..." Justin laughed, and we both turned towards the door.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything," Mary Beth smiled from the doorway.

Justin and I both laughed, "No, but your boyfriend just did," I informed her, grabbing my brush and heading for the bathroom.

"I thought you were downstairs with everyone else," Justin said to Mary Beth as he sat down on the edge of our bed.

"I was, but all they're really doing is stuffing their faces and going on about 'the good ol days' which I didn't have much to do with, so..." Mary Beth laughed, trailing off.

"So you thought you'd come up here, steal me from Justin, and talk about OUR 'good ol days?'" I peeked my head out the bathroom, grinning.

Mary Beth chuckled, "Exactly... plus Lynn wants to give us girls a tour of this gigantic place," she smiled, "Do I have your permission?" Mary Beth looked at Justin, who was yawning from his seat.

"I suppose so. Just have her home at a decent hour," Justin played along.

I finished brushing my hair and exited the bathroom. I walked over to Justin and pecked him softly. "Be good," he joked.

I laughed and knodded, following Mary Beth out of the room and down the long spiral staircase that led down to the 1st floor.

~*~Back in the Bedroom~*~

Justin sighed and stretched his arms above his head, falling backwards into the soft bed. He had forgotten if he was even hungry for breakfast anymore.

"God, she's so amazing..." he thought to himself, starring up at the ceiling.

"Plus Mom already likes her... Which has never happened before," he giggled slightly, sitting up.

Justin glanced back at the clock radio: 10:37. They had to be at TD Waterhouse by 3:30 or so, which was good since he knew exactly what his mother was up to. Right about now she was sitting Shelly and Mary Beth down to look at embarrasing baby pictures of him, and soon after they would get a glimpse into his awkward pre-teen days. But that also gave him plenty of time to take a hot shower before Shelly returned to their room exclaiming 'how adorable' he was. He smiled to himself and stood up from the bed, walking over to the door and shutting it before entering the bathroom.

*RING RING*

"I thought Mom said this was a private line..." Justin sighed, padding back out of the bathroom and reaching for the cordless phone on the dresser.

"Hello?" he said into the phone.

"Justin?" said a familiar male voice.

"Um, who's calling?" Justin asked, trying to remain anonymous in case it was someone he didn't know.

The person laughed, "Dude, it's Brian."

Justin rolled his eyes and tried to sound glad to hear from him, "Oh hey, man. What's going on?" Justin walked over to the loveseat in the corner and plopped down.

"Nothin' really. Your step-dad gave me the number to your room cause I was looking for Shelly," Brian told him.

'Figures... when aren't you looking for my girlfriend?' Justin thought bitterly. "Well, you just missed her. She left with Mary Beth to get the grand tour of the house," Justin said, trying hard to pull off his "friendly guy" act.

"Oh okay..." Brian's voice was low.

"You want me to take a message for her?" Justin rolled his eyes again and stood up, regretting his words.

"Oh, yeah that'd be great," Brian paused, "Just tell her that I'm coming to Orlando a little earlier than I thought... and that I have a surprise," Brian sounded excited.

Justin began to pace back and forth, tensing up after hearing Brian's words. 'What kind of fucking surprise?' he thought.

"A surprise?" Justin asked without thinking.

"Yeah... just tell her that it'll make her really happy," Brian said.

"When are you getting here?" Justin asked, stifling his anger.

"I should be getting in a little while before the show tomorrow. I'm just gonna stop at my place to get things settled, and then I was gonna come by. Is that cool?"

"Uh, yeah. That's fine."

"Ok great. It was good talking to you, man."

"Yeah, you too," Justin clicked off the phone. He paused for a moment, thinking back over the conversation.

"Perfect..." Justin said aloud, tossing the phone onto the bed.

"'Tell her it'll make her really happy!'" Justin mimicked Brian's words, rolling his eyes in disgust.

He sighed, sitting back on the bed with a thud. "It's not like I don't know you love her, you idiot."

~*~Late that Night~*~

My eyes flickered open to the blackness around me. I couldn't tell if I had actually slept or not. My mind was racing with thoughts about the next day. I turned from my back on to my side.

The warmth of Justin's body closed around me.

"Mmmm..." I burrowed into him, kissing his neck softly, "What time is it?" I asked quietly into the darkness.

"Almost three thirty..." he said softly, stroking my hair.

"Why're you still awake?" I asked.

Justin pecked my forehead gently, "I dunno... I was just thinking about stuff. Why are you still awake?" he asked.

"Just thinking, too..." I said, making trails down his smooth back with my fingertips.

"About what?" he asked.

"About Brian coming tomorrow..."

Justin let out a short dry laugh, "Me too..." his voice grew low. "I can't wait..." he mumbled.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked, sensing his sarcasm.

"I dunno... I just don't like the whole 'surprise' thing..." he said.

I laughed, "Justin, it's just gonna be some album news for me... you know that," I assured him.

"It didn't sound like just album news..." Justin said.

"I can't believe this... You're never jealous, baby. Don't start now," I chuckled.

Justin sighed, "I'm not jealous..." he said.

"Good," I pecked him gently, "This is Brian we're talking about anyway... He's like my brother," I said, placing my hands on Justin's cheeks.

He nodded and let out another sigh. "I love him a lot, you know that... But I'm in love with you... okay?" I said, touching my nose to his.

"Yeah..." Justin said quietly, and he drew me closer to him.

I felt his lips wrap around mine softly, and I found his hand underneath the covers, linking our fingers tightly together.

"I love you," he whispered.

"I love you too," I said.

I closed my eyes and listened to Justin's rythmic breathing until I finally fell asleep.
