"Guys?" I heard AJ's voice over the music. "Guys?" he said again, a little more forcefully.
I kept my eyes closed, as I kissed Justin and tried to ignore AJ's calls.
"GUYS!" he yelled.
"What... the hell... do you want?" Justin said, annoyed, and in between kisses.
"It's almost 3 and we wanna get going soon... Justin, JC said that you guys have a photo shoot tomorrow and you need to get some rest."
"Oh well..." Justin mumbled.
I giggled as he pulled me even deeper into a kiss.
"Oh God... Come on, guys." AJ gave up and I heard his footsteps walk away.
"Is he gone yet?" Justin asked a few minutes later.
"Yeah. He left a while ago." I grinned, keeping my eyes closed.
I felt Justin's strong hand brushing back the stray hairs that had fallen into my face.
"Please tell me he was lying about the photo shoot..."
"No... we do have a shoot tomorrow...God, I wish I wasn't so drunk," he said.
"Why?" I asked, opening my eyes.
"Cuz... first of all, my ass would be able to actually wake up tomorrow with out the massive hang-over I know I'll have. Second, I really wish I could see your beautiful face minus all the blurriness," he sighed.
"Oh... poor baby..." I pouted, picking up his face in my hands, and lifting it so he was eye level with me. "So, does this mean you can't take me up on my offer?" I asked.
"I am gonna kill myself for saying this, but... rain check?" Justin's eyes peered at me, full of hope and longing.
"Only if you promise," I said, smiling.
"Oh, GOD... Do I promise!" Justin exclaimed, pulling my chin up to kiss him.
I heard noise around us increase and then I made out at least four of the guys' voices: Chris, JC, Kevin, and AJ.
"I told you guys they were still over here." AJ said.
"Shit... pretend you don't notice them," Justin whispered, kissing me again.
"Dammit, we need to leave, already! Weren't we supposed to originally just make an appearance and leave?" Chris asked.
"Yeah, but you know how Max's parties are... WAY too much fun to just stay for a little while... as Justin seems to be demonstratin as we speak," JC said.
"I heard that, man," Justin pulled back from our kiss, and smirked at the guys. "Why ya'll gotta be so rude?" he asked, sarcastically.
"Why ya'll gotta be so horny?!" AJ exclaimed, laughing.
I blushed and giggled, wiping a smear of lipstick from above Justin's lip.
"Shut up, dude," Justin ran his fingers through his hair.
"Where's everybody else?" I asked.
"Waiting for us to get Justin," Kevin replied. "Oh, sorry I kept you guys waiting for him," I said.
"Its all good... but let's go now, ok, Justin?" Chris said, motioning for Justin to get up and follow them.
Justin looked at me with sorry in his eyes. "I'm gonna see you soon, right?"
"Yeah... if you want to..." I said.
"Of course I want to, girl."
"Ok," I took his hands in mine.
"How do I get a hold of you?" he asked.
"Just call me... how long are you guys gonna be in New York?"
"We're here for a while. We're doing a lot of album promotion and getting ready for our next tour."
"Ok... here." I reached into my purse and pulled out a pen. I grabbed a napkin and wrote my phone number and address on it. Then I handed it to Justin.
"Thanks," he slipped the napkin into his tight jeans pocket, looking into my eyes. "I'll call you as soon as I can talk straight tomorrow," he laughed.
"Ok... I'll be waiting," I said, standing up and pulling him to his feet. "I had fun... I'll see you soon."
We kissed gently, and Justin pulled back grinning widely.
"We kinda put new meaning into the whole 'Nice to meet you' phrase, didn't we?" he laughed.
"Yeah, I think we did," I said, smiling at him. I kissed him on his earlobe gently, and then whispered, "I'll talk to you tomorrow..."
"Mmkay," Justin sighed quietly.
He stepped away, walking over to the guys who were still waiting for him.
"Bye, guys! It was really nice to meet you!"
Justin glanced back at me, smiling slyly about our little joke. Kevin, AJ, Chris, and JC all returned good-byes with me. I watched them disappear out of the club. I slowly sat down at the table, realizing my tiredness.
"What the hell just happened to me?" I thought to myself. "I'm not supposed to be this lucky." I thought back to how much I wished that something big would happen to me at the party.
Then, my thoughts went back to the angelic face that had been kissing me minutes earlier.
"Well, I definitely got my wish!" I thought, grinning from ear to ear.
