The halls screamed in silence, and all Alyssa could her was the soft sound of her feet against the carpet. Holding her bag in place on her shoulder, her eyes squinted to focus in on her souroundings. It was completley desterted except for her. Her strides were slow and labored down the long corridor and finally to the elevator. Her finger jammed at the down button a few times before the doors opened up. Her mind was completley worthless at the moment, and all she could think of was how tired, and how cold she was. As the doors reopened, she was surprised to see all the guys, Drew, and Mike standing in the lobby. Carefully stepping away from the support of the wall she walked out of the elevator and to meet with the rest of the guys.
She rocked back and forth on her heels, and tugged her jacket further around her body. Looking down at her watch, she let out a parched breathe, turning toward the conversation the other guys were having.
"Hey there, did you get any sleep?" She jumped as she felt someone's arms reach around her waist. Her eyes closed when she felt Justin's warm breathe against her neck.
"Barely. When we got back to the hotel after the show, I took a shower, and got packed up. I got maybe an hour or so. Did you get to sleep at all?" Alyssa laced her fingers together with his, feeling him smile against her cheek.
"Nah, but Im used to it. I'll just sleep on the plane," He shifted his weight to his other foot, making them sway back and forth.
"Dont get to comfy Lys, we're leaving," Justin leaned in until his lips were pressed against her ear.
Holding her hand he followed everyone through the hotel doors. They were immediatly greeted with a gust of cold air, as they climbed into the black van that was parked against the curb. Alyssa was close beside Justin and Lance, as she pressed her back against the seat. Her head lowered to Justin's shoulder, cuddling up against him, seeking the warmth his body offered. Her eyes watched as Lance reached under the seat pulling out a dark blue blanket. Pulling it over her body, he tucked it around her feet as she sighed.
"Better?" he laughed, as her hands fisted in the blanket pulling it as close to her body as she could.
"Yeah, thanks Lance."
She yawned one time, her mind willingly slipping into the nothingness of sleep. Justin's eyes felt heavier by the minute, and he felt his attentive side slowy slipping away. Draping his arm around her shoulder, he pulled her closer to him, gently rubbing his hand against her arm. Leaning down slightly, his lips brushed the top of her head, as she shifted.
Alyssa's eyes slowly fluttered open, cringing at the light being forced at her. Her eyes slowly went into focus, and the realization of her souroundings hit her.
"JC..." Her voice wasnt any louder than a whisper, trying hard not to wake up Justin.
"Yeah?"
"How much longer til we're there?" She giggled a little, at how childish that sounded.
"We're landing hun, thats why you woke up," He gave a small laugh, Alyssa knitted her eyebrows in concentration turning to Justin. She could feel the plane noticeably lowering, so she knew she needed to wake him up. Placing her hand on his cheek she stroked it softly.
"Justin, wake up..." Her voice was in a whisper. He stirred a little, but never opened his eyes. "Justin we're here..." She cupped his cheek in her palm, stroking it lightly as he slowly opened up his eyes.
A smile played across his face as he reached up to her hand that rested lightly on his face. Placing his hand ontop of her, he brought it slowly down kissing her fingers softly. She smiled at him, the sleepiness wearing off of of his face. They both jerked forward a little as the plane came to a landing. Alyssa sighed thankfully when she was able to stand up and stretch. Justin cleared a path down the aise, leading them down the terminal and into the open space of the airport. Alyssa leaned against one of the poles, as the guys greeted the hand ful of fans that had gathered.
"I'll be waiting for you over there by that pole. I love you Lyssie..." He kissed his finger running it along her jaw line.
"I love you to..." She smiled a little as he leaned against the pole, watching as she disapperared through the terminal gates.
"Alyssa?" Justin called out watching as her eyes turned to him. They were clouded with confusion and fear.
"Whats the matter?" He leaned in to whisper to her.
"Nothing, I was just, just thinking."
Her words were light against her lips, as she pushed away from the pole. Running her hand over the surface, she yanked it away staring at it in disbelief. Shaking her head a few times to rid her thoughts she smiled making her way through the crowd.
Alyssa's eyes opened quickly darting all around the room. Bringing the blanket up to her chin, she sat up rubbing her eyes a few times. Her fingers wrapped around the floral print, her pinkened lips open slightly. Her feet carefully hit the carpet, walking softly to the bathroom. Sitting down slowly on the vanity chair she stared into the mirror. She looked carefully at her reflection running her hands over her face, and down her neck.
"Whats the matter with me?" Her voice was choppy, as she squinted her eyes shaking her head a few times.
