David has always enjoyed bright, cheerful colors in the abstracts for the most part, and combined with structure of subject matter, frees any occurring topic of any preconceived association. Although shapes and forms found in his work are familiar, he likes to think of the unfolding piece as devoid of preconceived association. His work expresses purity of geometry. The realisms, on the other hand, are very close to the Creator's hand, but are often enhancements or unnoticed variations.
