1977

APRIL 19, 1977
RIVERFRONT COLISEUM, CINCINNATI, OHIO, U.S.A.

Length: 96 minutes(incomplete)

Recording Quality: Fair to Good audience recording.

Comments: The recording quality starts off ok, but by the end of Ten Years Gone there seems to be something wrong with the recorder. The sound becomes very uneven after this point.

APRIL 20, 1977
RIVERFRONT COLISEUM, CINCINNATI, OH, U.S.A

Length:43 minutes(incomplete)

Track List: In My Time of Dying(cuts in), Battle of Evermore, White Summer/Black Mountainside/Kashmir, Over The Top(cut), Jimmy's guitar solo(cut).

Recording Quality: Poor to fair audience recording.

Comments: When I listen to this tape, all I can think is why did the taper choose to tape these particular parts of the show. Maybe visually these parts were more exciting than they are on tape?

Comments: The poor quality of the recording makes it very hard to listen to. I won't complain too much though-at least it's a new tape.

MAY 30, 1977

JUNE 11, 1977
MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, NEW YORK, NY, U.S.A.

Length:126 minutes(incomplete)

Track List:The Song Remains the Same, The Rover/Sick Again, Nobody's Fault But Mine, In My Time of Dying, Since I've Been Loving You, No Quarter(slight cut in middle), Ten Years Gone, The Battle of Evermore, Going to Callifornia, Black Country Woman/Bron-Yr-Stomp, White Summer/Black Mountain Side/Kashmir(cut).

Recording Quality: Excellent audience recording.

Comments:Finally a good audience recording from the MSG '77 shows. When this came out, there were rumors that there are other superior tapes of the MSG '77 shows. I hope that they are all as good as this one. The tape circulated before the Japanese booted it (a very rare occurance for a tape of this quality).
