A Lady in Black
Ah, well. The black lacy shawl
was a gift from my dear spouse--purchased, I believe, at a second-hand
shop. It is well-appreciated, no matter where it came from. The top I'm
wearing under it has dark sequins from neck to waist, and every time I
put it on a half dozen or so of these sequins fall off, but the loss doesn't
seem noticeable so far. The skirt is the black velvet one I bought on eBay
last winter. I had hoped to wear this outfit to the CES Christmas party,
but wasn't able to attend this year.
