update, 100606 well hello everyone, just thought i would send you all a quick line telling you that i am here safe and sound and that london is absolutely amazing. i arrived here on tuesday at 3pm (1am wednesday for you guys, london is so behind us in every way!!!! hahaha) the plane ride/s were very exhausting. didn't have a window seat and was not upgrading to first class despite my coughing and spluttering in kuala lumpur. was only 8 hour flight to kuala lumpur which i slept most of the way. it was the flgiht to london that dragged on. 13 hours later after being seating in between a bunch of malaysians yabbering on about fuck knows wat, i arrived. had absolutely no idea wat i was doing and got into an arguement with the lady @ immigration who wasn't going to let me in.... Bitch.... anyway, got all of that sorted and then made my way to the heathrow express, which is a train that takes you from the airport, straight into the paddington station. only takes 15 minutes. was a bit of a struggle with my 2 suitcases and backpack, but i made it. i have got myself a number over here in case any of you want to contact me, the number is +44 (0) 7768441883 . feel free to give me a call or message me, just be aware of the time difference. now, where was i, yeah so i met chris (one of the guys i'm staying with at the paddington station and we caught the "tube" (or as i like to say, train) to the other side of the city where i am staying. it is called berminsey or something for those of you playing at home. had a nice long shower and got myself prettied up as some of chris's friends were throwing me a welcome bbq (in true aussie style). they are all very lovely people that study fashion with chris @ university. then yesterday, i did a bit of the touristy thing as you can see by the photo's that i have attached. we covered a lot of ground, i saw the london eye which is bloody huge, big ben, parliament building and westminster abbey, which is where princess diana got married to that big eared moron. also went to trafalgar square, and st james palace or something. i don't know, i just took photos of whatever looked like some kind of landmark. as you can also see, the weather is amazing at the moment. yesterday it got to like 25 degrees and the sun was shining all day. also went down the gay street called old compton street. saw all sorts, i think it is a very big scene over here cos they just seemed to be everywhere!!!! not like commercial road, this is probably 20 or 30 times bigger. met up with a friend of mine, grant who is from albury (yes another albury fag) and went to soho square and sat in the sun watching all the pretty people sun baking. came home and prettied myself up with chris and some of his mates then went to a club called heaven where one of chris' friends was dj-ing. will give a select few of you some more details on that night another time. anyway, i hope that you all keep in touch and i look forward to sending some more personal emails to each and every one of you. meanwhile take care and try not to miss me to much. i know it's only been a couple of days but stay in there guys. i'll be back eventually!!!! hehehehe hope you enjoy the photo's and there is more to come very soon. also let me know if you want me to send some pics thru from my party. there are some fantastic ones on there. love you all dearly and look forward to hearing from you soon marc x x x x (by: administrator sillytree)
