Welcome, 'O lowly mortal, to my holy temple of..urrr...Webness.

Yes, that's my temple. Flashy, isn't it?
Yes, I live in Tzek's Temple! I'm the fluff that lives under his bed and gives him that nasty rash that no one else knows about..*shifty eyes*

Anyway, this is my area, all about me and my little puddle of weirdness. Well, it's something to read if you're hideously bored and desperate.

My Journal

Name: Alex, or Lex

Gender: Can I pass on that question?

Birthdate: 24th of December 1986.

Place: Devon, England. It kinda sucks. El Dorado fans are kind of thin on the ground around here.

E-mail: YxAxOxIFanperson@aol.com
LastOfTheWeirdos@aol.com

Occupation: Unemployed, and hoping to stay that way. Having no job gives me time to pursue my obsessions, and it's probably safer for the general population not to give me either responsibilities or money.

Preference: Another difficult question. If I had to choose an answer I'd say Bisexual. But boys are most definetly my favourite.

Status: Currently dating the gorgeous and talented Luke, who I met at a computer course in Feb-May of this year. We've been an item since the 1st of May and hopefully it will continue for quite a bit longer. Pictures of him will be coming soon!!

Looks: Well have a lookie at the piccie. It aint pretty lol. My hair is slightly longer than that at the moment.

EEK!

Hobby's: Well you're sitting here looking at my main hobby. I'm nuts about site building and web design, and of course reading. I'm the classic bookworm. ^_^ Currently working my way through the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. I also like listening to music and swimming. Oh and I'm a dolling freak.

Music style: I love Rock, and anything that's just a little different. Especially if the singer has an individual voice or way of singing. No pop or rapping please.
My favourite bands are Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Placebo and The Rasmus. I absolutely adore the Chili Peppers! I got their Greatest Hits CD for my birthday, the same day I first watched RtED, so I always think of M & T whenever I hear any songs on the album, especially Californication, Under The Bridge, Give It Away (even though I doubt Tulio would like the idea of giving away all his gold..), Suck My Kiss (XD), Breaking The Girl, Road Trip, and - most of all - Save The Population.
I also love listening to the El Dorado Soundtrack. And I'm not ashamed to say I liked Hanson.

Attire: Jeans, goth boots and a black or darkish shirt normally. And lots of spikes and various dice-orientated things (belts, earrings, etc..)

Favored food: Cheesecake, chips, donuts, veggie sausages & smash, and noodles. Luke is slowly converting me to vegitarianism, kicking and screaming.

Favored drink: Tropical fruit juice or milkshakes.

Favored color: Black, blue, green, silver, turquoise and red. And gold, obviously.

Favorite song: Waaaay too many to mention. At the moment I'm going nuts for Dancing In The Moonlight by Thin Lizzy, the whole of the 'Dead Letters' album by The Rasmus, and Hyper Chondriac Music, Time Is Running Out and Hysteria by Muse.

I actually first watched The Road to El Dorado on my 17th Birthday! How groovy is that??
As you've probably guessed, I looooooooooove slash. Yaoi is my passion, Slash is my life. I am nothing else but a slave to the computer.

He'll do anything after a couple tequilas..
Ah yes, Viggo always pops around our place for a cuppa and a biscuit, always happy to model one or two little things for us... Aw fine, ya got me, it's a life-size cutout! The only surviving thing that I bought back from my first trip to London! Mum keeps thinking he's a burgular...

I kinda have a history of getting obsessed with pointless little things to an unhealthy level. Not that RtED is either pointless or little, but it's still hardly normal to have your every waking moment revolving around an animated film. Then again it's hardly normal to spend ten hours a day online archiving fics. *shrugs*

I don't really know what attracts me to the whole RtED thang, other than the fact that it's the slashiest animated film I've ever seen! I'm a sucker for cuteness, and Miguel and Tulio are nothing if not cute. Just the way they interact with eachother, how they have such a strong bond that they know what the other is thinking and what they're going to do without saying a word.
And when they do say something, it's hilarious! They have such amazing chemistry! The way their personalities fit perfectly with eachother, how they play off eachother and improvise with such elegance and style.

And plus they're both really hot. ^_^

I often wonder who is my favourite - Miguel or Tulio?
I mean, I love Miguel's personality, how he's so sweet and kind and curious, almost like a child in many ways. And I love the way he stood up to Tzek about the sacrifices. And the puppy faces! Kawaii! *_*

Whoa, look at those puppies dance!
This makes me collapse into fits of laughter everytime I see it. *on the floor* Oh that wacky Miguel...*shifty eyes*

But other than the hair and eyes and wonderful dress-sense, I don't really find him very attractive. *shrugs* I think it's the beard. Reminds me of my Dad.

Tulio, on the other hand, is devastatingly handsome. Unlike Miguel, Tulio has an almost feminine look about him, with that cute nose and lovely eyebrows. Do you think he plucks? And his eyes aren't bad, either, even though they're still not quite up to Miguel's standard. I love that little beardy thing Tulio has, too. It's rather sweet. And his hair is gorgeous, I love that ponytail.

And again...and again...and again...
What red-blooded person could look at that and not think he's hot? Are you blind, woman? You know who I'm talking to, you...you...you thing you. *mutters* Twig indeed...*tuts*

But that's where the good things stop, I'm afraid.
I don't like Tulio's personality much at all, really. The whole Chel thing put me off him, as he clearly has NO taste. And the fact that he was seduced soooo easily, after making Miguel promise he wouldn't go after Chel himself... That's just downright nasty.
He's just a bit too sneaky and greedy for my liking. And he worries too much! ;o)

Basically, on their own they're not much fun.
Together, they're just brilliant, but apart.. Something's just missing.
Without Tulio, Miguel is just a bit too sappy and Disneyish (apologies for using the 'D' word, readers.), while without Miguel, Tulio is just a bit of an asshole.

Well, that's my thought, anyway.

But that's what makes them so great as a COUPLE, that they're balanced out. Tulio keeps Miguel more-or-less on the good side of irritating, making him pretty darn adorable, really. And Miguel keeps Tulio from worrying himself into oblivion or from going so neurotic that he has a nervous breakdown and starts to collect flies and lint in a jar.
I can't really explain it, it's just like they're not complete without eachother, like they only become whole people when they're with eachother.

In a nutshell, I doubt that either of them would be able to survive on their own. That's what makes them perfect.
:-D
