The F's gig at The Junction In York has been cancelled on the morning of the gig due to an illness in the headlining band "Carnation".

The F are confirmed to be opening The Play Stage at Middlesbrough Empire at 12noon on Monday May 26th at Music Live.

Riiiiigh' so Patrol have pulled out of Tuesdays gig leaving us with Astral Weeks and The Bor's favourite band "THE F" unless we get some one tomorrow which is doubtful!

Just so everone knows, the gigs in Middlesbrough and Scarborough are still going ahead... Ste will be playing bass in Middlesbrough and Andy Alcock will be plucking the strings in Scarborough, this is only a temporary measure, any bass player out there interested?

The F are (not so) sad to announce the departure of bassist and resident stoner "Goo", Whereas the F regretted losing their guitarist 3 months ago and regret losing their bassist... they do not regret losing the hassle that came with Goo it means no more knuckles meeting walls thank God!

Welcome to Paul McCullogh, new guitarist. A former pupil at Saint David's school, where the band were formed, Paul played guitar in the band to preceed "The F" at Saint David's "Illusion".
Departure.

The F are sad to announce the departure of guitarist Dave Brookmyre, after a heated New Years Eve argument. We wish Dave the best of luck in the future with any further projects he takes part in.
Cornercopia.

Plans for the new Easter Cornercopia event at the cornerhouse in Middlesbrough are made. The F are set to be one of the first bands announced.

The F played their "best gig ever" and their first with their new line-up at the Clarendon on Thursday and then they opened the Courtyard with a chilled out set. Ste had an argumetn with a bar man and SEVERELY offended his girlfriend because she was a "wannabe"! The audience was shit and the P.A. was shitter, but the free booze was good... and so was the Dubliners afterwards!

New photo's of the band have been uploaded onto the site... however they are photos that are actually a year old, at the original transporter bridge photo taking session. You can see them HERE! The reason for these photos is that after a long and arduous search for a replacement for Rob, who was a a replacement for Bro is that Bro has returned to replace his replacement!!!!.

The F's Frontman Ste and Bass Player Goo have returned from both of their summer breaks after a knackering experience for each. Ste has provided himself with blistered shoulders from the beaming sunshine state of Florida while Goo's summer of festival fun is over for another year. The F are currently working on a new demo CD which should be available at the end of September. We can reveal that the CD is expected to feature 11 tracks. 8 of which will be newly recorded and 3 which will be added as a bonus from the first demo which was recorded two years ago. Recording will begin next week so stay tuned to the website for news on the release date and how you can obtain a copy.

The band has recently been having more photos taken for the website and we are hoping that these photos will be uploaded and viewable within the next few weeks. Included in the new shoots will be shots of the band in practice, on location and gigging.
