On permitting Jews to be attorneys in the affairs of Christian small land proprietors.
The Legal Department of the State Council in General Assembly to consider the decision of the General
Assembly of the first three Departments and the Department of the Head of the Governing Senate on
permitting Jews to be attorneys in the affairs of Christian small land proprietors, reached this opinion:
let the Governing Senate make known to the Bessarabia Oblast Administration, that Jews are not prohibited
from being attorneys in the affairs of Christian small land proprietors.
Resolved. His Imperial Majesty following the opinion in the General Assembly of the State Council, on
permitting Jews to be attorneys in the affairs of Christian small land proprietors,
was pleased to Imperially ratify and order it carried out.
