Life is a "Refinement Process". Like gold, we are being
continuously "refined
in the fire". Our good and gracious God accepts us and always
"meets us where
we are". However, He absolutely loves us too much to let us
stay there. Like
Father said during his homily, "we are either growing [moving
forward] or
sliding backwards [away from God & Heaven]". I've also
heard it like this...
Like fruit on the vine, you are either ripening or rotting. Time
refuses to
stand still for any of us. Let us move forward, by the power of the
Holy Spirit
through Christ, our Lord, along the road which leads us all to Heaven.
