Birth of Jesus
During some four thousand years, from Adam to Christ, Jesus was announced in the Scriptures, to come into the world, and become man's Saviour.  His coming was foretold in promise and prophecy and revealed in types and shadows.  He would be the Son of God from heaven, but would also be the child of a virgin mother, born in the flesh, and would live a human life on the earth.  When the time came for His birth He was born in Bethlehem, and announced from heaven by the angels.
