Information
Swartt Sixclaw the Ferret had a young Badger as a prisoner, until a Kestrel named Skarlath freed him. The two friends escaped. The Badger gave himself the name Sunflash, because of his golden stripe. He and Skarlath went around the countryside, righting wrongs and protecting the innocent. Then the duo stumbled upon a small cave besieged by Foxes. He rescued those inside, the Dubbo and Lingl families. He stayed with them for quite a while. Swartt and Sunflash clashed many times, until Sunflash headed for Salamandastron. While on his trek, Swartt was swiftly approaching Redwall Abbey, only to find a contingent of Squirrels, Otters and creatures waiting to send them away. In their haste to retreat, Swartt left his son behind. He was adopted by Bryoney the Mousemaid, and Bella the Badger named him Veil. Veil got into much trouble, and he was outcast. Meanwhile, Swartt had laid Salamandastron under seige, and he lost. So he ran, hard and long, stopping only to have Nightshade the Vixen kill Skarlath, who was in pursuit. Sunflash was maddened terribley, and he chased harder and harder, until he caught up with Swartt at Bat Mountpit, the realm of the Bats. In the course of the Battle, Veil(Who had been wandering across the land for quite sometime, with Bryoney and her friend Togget in pursuit)died in a heroic attempt to save Bryoney. She survived. The Badger siezed Swartt in his paws, and hurled him from the mountaintop. Sunflash went off to Redwall for many seasons, and was reunited with Bella, his mother. All lived peacefully in Mossflower.
