Marlfox

Information

To where will they go, This is a secret nobeast may know. Marlfox! Plundering murdering vulpine thieves, Who blend with stone, Or meld with leaves. Marlfox! See the pale eyes and swirling cloak, Appear like nightmare, Vanish like smoke. Marlfox! What steals upon the silent air, Gleaming fangs, mottled fur, A deadly axeblade lying there. Marlfox! Nobeast living can hide from thee, O thou who treads invisibly, Cross hill and vale, through woods and rocks. Marlfox! Marlfox! Marlfox! The Marlfoxes arrive in Mossflower, with this mysterious dirge guiding their way. Without warning, they steal the Abbeys tapestry, and the Squirrels Dannflor and Songbreeze, the Shrew Dippler, and the Watervole Burble set off on a dangerous quest. Their journey leads them to an island, in the very heart of a hidden lake. The battle leaves the high-king dead, and the slaves free. The Marlfox brood was no more! Songbreeze returned to be Abbess, Dannflor to be the Abbey Champion, Dippler to be the Log-a-log of all Shrews, and Burble to be the chieftain of the Riverhead Bankvole tribe. The inhabitants of Redwall contiuned their way life peacefully, with Martin the Warrior fully restored.
