Information
Mousemaid Mariel had been cast into the sea. But the
raging torrents are no match for this young beast. She
wrestles her way to shore, and before you know it, she's
on her way to Redwall Abbey. Gabool the Wild, lord of
the island of Terramort, is furious, because his best friend
has betrayed him, stolen his best ship, and disappeared.
Greypatch was his name, and he had made his way to Mossflower.
While there, he is lead to Redwall, and a long, bloody battle
ensues. In the end, Redwall is saved by the noble sacrifice
of two Hares(Colonel Clary and Brig. Thyme) and a fat
Squirrel(Pakatugg Treefleet). Mariel, Dandin, Durry Quill,
and Tarquin the Hare set out to find Gabool, encountering
many new sights and friends along the way. This epic
story culminates in a huge battle on Terramort. Mariel
is reunited with her father, Joseph the Bellmaker, the
Searat's Slaves are freed, Gabool is defeated, and the
clarion call of a bell now tolls out from the Abbey.
