The Shrine of Finnbarr Galedeep

He was born at sea, Not a star was seen, While blustery winds did weep. The babe fell in, But found he could swim, He's earned the name Galedeep! When 'twas three days old, He was brave and bold, And he caught a Shark for supper. "Well shiver me shanks, I'll walk the planks, If my hunger I don't scupper!" On he sailed, Through blustery gale, And he lost one of his peepers. "Oh well," Says he, "It's plain to see, That I can't sink much deeper." He won many fights, And he passed many nights, In his good ship the "Pearl Queen", So in the deep dark cold, Then his stories are told, Of where Finnbarr Galedeep's been! The Otter of Water! Captain of all Oceans! The great rider of the Roaringburn! Finnbarr Galedeep! Master of the seas! Brave, bold, just, jolly, and true! In the heat of battle, he did what he needed to do! Jospeh owes him his life, for the Galedeep defeated Nagru. Which is more than can be said for you! Alas, Finbarr Galedeep lies forever in Southsward, facing the sea, as he always wanted. His battle with the Urgan Nagru drained him terribly, but he will live forever in memory. Sail on, mighty Galedeep!
