Today has been interesting to say the least..Waking up 15 minutes before your first class starts, when school is at least an hour away, is not the best way to start a friday.
I thought that today was going to be great - I was prepared for my German test, even after going to bed at 130am, I had packed all my books in my 40 pound bag, i was prepared and ready to meet friday head on. What i hadn't planned however, was to meet it at 915 in the morning.
My alarm was set for 7am. I was going to get ready and leave early so i could study for my German midterm (i honestly am turning into the biggest nerd ever..i've never been like this! i swear! ask anyone!) When i woke up at 915, I was ready for a nice, sunshiny day..but NO ~ hurricaine Isabelnecessaryonabicycle had sent nasty weather towards Montreal and we were having a Torential downpour with kitebreaking winds. Wunderbar! Freaking out - i race into the bathroom and turn on the shower...jumping in without realizing that the hot water is barely even on, i scrub down and jump out in 6 minutes flat. Changing into whatever i could get my hands on, i fly out the door and race to the bus, not realizing my german notebook is sitting on the table next to the door.
Life is such that you have to make Lemonade out of lemons.
WHO THE FUCK SAYS THAT?! I say, if you're screwed, you're screwed. And that was me. nevermind that the german test was a breeze and i probably did well, Just the fact that EVERYTHING had to go downhill from the 915 wake up made today a living hell. Well, until about 945 this evening. That's when the sky cleared and became blue, the birds came out and sang, rainbows filled the sky and flowers bloomed in the gardens. Jason and Courtney are FINALLY going to get married.
