Chapter 2

Chapter 2

Sarah heard the alarm clock buzz and she quickly threw it across the room. It hit the blue glass wind chime that was hanging against the wall. The chime fell to the floor and shattered into a million pieces.

"Oh Shoot!" Sarah moaned and reluctantly got out of bed. She went over the broken wind chime and began picking up the pieces. Her mother had heard the noice of the glass and came to see what was wrong.

"Sarah! What happened to your wind chime? You know I spent lots of money on that!" Her mother replied from the doorway. She came over to Sarah, who was putting the pieces into a nearby trashcan.

"The alarm clock was getting on my nerves, so I threw it, and it hit the chime. I didn't mean to brake it mom, I swear," She exclaimed and saw the anger building in her mothers grey blue eyes.

"Well your temper has been getting up lately. I don't know what I'm going to do with you. Do you want to go back to that Oakwood Center again?" Her mother exclaimed with a sigh of frustration.

Sarah knew that she had been getting mad at everything lately and she knew that the Oakwood Center wasn't not that place for her. She had been sent there because of her severe depression, and had also taken a few anger management classes.

Oakwood was a rundown old school in the middle of rural Oklahoma. It used to be an old farm, but the state had turned it into a special home for 'out of control girls' or that's how they put it. Sarah knew that she wasn't out of control. Her problem, was that she couldn't manage her anger very will, and that made her have mood swings, mostly depression and peranoia.

"No mom Im sorry. I don't need to go back there. I just need to relax and take a nice long shower. I'll help you clean the house later okay?" Sarah got her clothes and went into the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror, and started brushing her light brown hair. Sarah had always liked her hair which was normally pulled into a low pony tail or parted in the middle, but she suddenly wanted a change.

"I really need a hair cut," She thought to herself as she got into the shower. After her shower, Sarah helped her mother straighten up the house then she got into her car and drove to ther nearest hair salon.
