JESUS WILL COME-JOB-KINGDOM OF THE SON-LADY, I LOVE YOU-LESSONS

“JESUS WILL COME”     by  Jeff Leslie   1995

When you have pain until comfort is a stranger
And tears are weighing heavy on your cheeks
One will ride upon those tracks of bitter stain there
Bringing with His presence blessed peace

Jesus will come.  He hasn't deserted you
Jesus will come.  Just keep holding on
At the end of every darkness comes the dawn
Jesus will come to heal what's been hurting you
Jesus will come and you'll be made strong
Jesus will come.  Jesus will come.

So, believe me when I say God has a reason
I know you find it hard to understand
But the pain will grip you only for a season
Then release you to the One with healing hands

There will be no more dying. There will be no more pain
There will be no more crying, not one trace of a stain
Whenever you feel you've been suffering long
Remember He’s coming with eternity's song

Jesus will come.  He hasn't deserted you
Jesus will come.  Just keep holding on
At the end of every darkness comes the dawn
Jesus will come to heal what's been hurting you
Jesus will come and you'll be made strong
Jesus will come.  Jesus will come.

"JOB"  by   Jeff Leslie   1980, 11/27/01

God, was it not enough they destroyed all my cattle and lands
Full of crops for which I worked my life
Now I’m mourning the deaths of my sons and my daughters
Their families, though You spared my wife

But I cannot hold her, the one thing I cherish the most
For the sores which have covered my skin
This disease has transfigured me
Pain I can't stand any more
Tell me, why did this suffering begin

How can You let so much happen to one who's been true to You
So true to You
Have You forgotten my righteousness, my daily sacrifice
My sacrifice
What is the purpose for all of my pain
Am I just a pawn in some sad twisted game
Tell me what have I done to deserve such a fate
Is it worth the price?  What could be worth this price?

My friends come to mourn with me, pray for me
Try to encourage with words of a man loving God
Though they see what's been done to me
How they believe that You love me is really quite odd

And yet they insist that my pain has been caused
By some sin or transgression that I’ve said or done
Don't they see that I’m blameless
If there’s anyone Who has made a mistake
God, You are the One
Oh, what have I done?

(THE LORD)
Listen, Job, to My words in the whirlwind
Then let Me know when you can see you can still trust in Me

Who made the earth, this foundation you crawl upon?
Who spoke the words all creation was started from?
Were you here with Me before time first began?
Or did you breathe the first breath of life into man?

Who sheds the rain on the dry thirsty soil?
Who scattered the night with stars bursting with joy?
Can you shout with thunder through clouds in the night
0r awaken each morning with the promise of light?

If you can make seasons all change just in time
For the harvest to prosper, then show me a sign.
Span this clear sky with a rainbow of color
And I'll be the man and you the Creator.

How can you see all I've done and deny
That I have a plan for each day of your life?
Trust in Me now as you did once before
And the best that I have will be yours evermore.

(JOB)
Lord, it wasn’t enough you restored all my cattle and land
But you’ve doubled my wealth here on earth
And You've blessed me with beautiful children again
By allowing my wife to give birth

And now I can hold her but, Lord, what I cherish the most
Is the love and forgiveness You've shown
For now life has new meaning and I will forever sing
Praises to You, my Lord alone

God, I will love You forever and I will be true to You
So true to You
For I know that You’re my Creator Who gave me the gift of life
And I love my life
Now that I trust You with all of my days
I’ll tell everyone in the world of the way You came
Bursting through all of my darkness with eternal light
Bursting through all of my darkness with eternal light
Eternal Light
Eternal Light

“KINGDOM OF THE SON”     by Jeff Leslie      6/29/90

He's the firstborn over all of God's creation
He's the image of the Father up above
It's in Him we have from sin a separation
For our souls, the cleansing flood is in the power of His blood

We were falling into the darkness
When the sacrifice was done
Now we’re called into His likeness
In the kingdom of the Son

We should show ourselves approved of His good favor
Reflecting His great love with our own lives
And the fruit we bear should satisfy the Saviour
Nurtured by the Words He spoke of everlasting life

We were falling into the darkness
When the sacrifice was done
Now we’re called into His likeness
In the kingdom of the Son

"LADY, I LOVE YOU"    by  Jeff Leslie   8/22/87

When I sing to you, these words of love will fall upon your ear
And they will find their way into your lonely heart
Then I'll cling to you and you will know these words I sing are true
Now and forever I'll be everywhere you are

Lady, I love you.  Lady, I love you
And I know Jesus put this love within my heart
Lady, I love you.  Lady, I love you
Now and forever I'll be everywhere you are

When the world began God made a plan for a man to have his wife
And then a miracle made two lives become one
Oh, I never could believe it would ever happen in my life
But, lady, look and see.  A miracle is done

Lady, I love you.  Lady, I love you
And I know Jesus put this love within my heart
Lady, I love you.  Lady, I love you
Now and forever I'll be everywhere you are

And the love that Jesus gave to me for you has made me whole
From the Spirit of the Father to the center of my soul
Of my soul, my soul

Lady, I love you.  Lady, I love you
And I know Jesus put this love within my heart
Lady, I love you.  Lady, I love you
Now and forever I'll be everywhere you are

"LESSONS"  by Jeff Leslie  12/17/00

If your legs were never shackled
Like a slave who serves his master
You'd never know the meaning “to be free”

If your sky was never stormy
Or you'd never been at war
You'd never know the value of My peace

If you'd never had a sickness
Or a body racked with pain
You'd never know My healing brings relief

Unless someone you trusted
Left you crying all alone
You'd never know that I will never leave

If everything you wanted came
The moment you had asked
You'd never know the gift that patience brings

If you never lived in darkness
And tomorrow held no wonder
You'd never know the joy when morning sings

When spring comes for a season
But then leaves you wanting more
Remember there's eternity with Me

But the only way you'll find it
And receive my perfect love
Is believing in the things you cannot see
