Sonny has been dealing with his new found daughter and her relationship with AJ...Carly's been helping Sonny and trying to get to know her father - John Durant the federal prosecuter. After the stress Sonny and Carly have been under lately, the two decided it would be time to take a vacation with their boys. Carly also suggested that Sonny invite Jason so they could all relax on Sonny's island. He agreed and went to talk to Jason. He soon discovered that Jason's new girlfriend was in reality his fiancee and the mother of his child! Jason agreed to go, but he wanted Sonny to make sure Carly didn't stress out Sam in her condition. Sonny went back and gathered his family and took them to the plane. Once settled in, he told Carly of Jason's new relationship. She immediately showed her displeasure but agreed to make sure Sam didn't get stressed out. |
Across the hall, Jason and Sam were also considering a vacation so when Sonny offered they jumped on the chance. Sam immediately told Jason that she wanted to get married on the beach - just like he had mentioned the night they got their marriage liscense. Jason agreed, but wondered if she could put together a wedding that fast. She assured him she could...and that she might just ask for Carly's help as a way to extend the olive branch. They packed, with Sam teasing she had brought things for the wedding night! |
When Jason and Sam boarded the plane, it was tense for a few moments. Then Sam and Carly began to talk, and Sam brought up the subject of her wedding. She was hoping to marry on the island but wasn't sure how to begin. She hoped Carly would be able to help her. She also wanted Carly to know that she respected her relationship with Jason and that she didn't want to interfer with that. Carly also agreed that Sam made Jason happy and she would respect that. So with a tentative peace, the two began to plan a wedding on the plane. Carly arranged to have dresses bought to the hotel when they landed and even sketched something to serve as the alter. When the landed, Sam was taken aback by the beautiful island and was caught up with choosing a dress. Carly helped her make the final decision. Sam then asked Carly if she would stand with her for her wedding. |
While Carly and Sam made wedding plans, Jason and Sonny talked first about children and then about serious business. Jason revealed that he and Sam were unsure of who the baby's father was but that they would do anything to keep the secret buried. Sonny was about to mention that they could switch the tests when Jason got a call from Port Charles. His twin sister, Jaslyn, was back in town and wanted Jason to know that Justus was dead. Jason promised to be home as soon as possible and then went back to the conversation with Sonny. They agreed that no matter what, any test result would show that Jason was the father of the baby. Jason and Sonny decided to let the women prepare and headed out for a drink. Jason announced he wanted to marry that night! |
Jason and Sam were married under the sunset on the beach, just as she had wanted. They professed their love to one another and exchanged vows as Sonny and Carly looked on. They then headed to their own private reception where Sam managed to get a dance out of her new husband. When she smushed cake in his face things turned passionate and the newlyweds headed up to their suite to make love all night long, before returning to Port Charles. |
Sonny and Carly decided to leave Jason and Sam to their reception and took a walk on the beach. They talked about many things - their life together and his sister Courtney. He confessed that he was trying his best to accept any future relationship Courtney might find herself in but that it was hard. He was the protective older brother...sometimes he couldn't help himself. The two headed back to their room, and it wasn't long before their passion ignited and they made love. As usual, they knew exactly how to play off each other and went back to Port Charles that morning, relaxed and satisfied. |
