La Familia Corinthos

Sonny and Carly returned to Port Charles from the island and ran right into a snow storm. When they arrived back in their penthouse, they immediately received a visitor. It was Cleo...and she was upset. She had recently had a fight with AJ, and no longer was sure where they stood. She needed to talk to her father privately, and he took her to his office. She poured her heart out and tried to hold back the tears. But Sonny told her that it never did anyone any good to hold in their emotions - he had had plenty of experience and it never worked out. He also assured her that even if she and AJ were through, there were others who loved her and would take care of her.

While Sonny and Cleo talked, Carly entertained a visitor of her own. Her father, John Durant, showed up. With the snow worsening he had to stay there and he hoped it would prove to be a perfect chance to get to know his daughter better. The two talked tenatively, with John expressing his desire to become closer with both her and his two grandsons. Somewhat reluctant at first, Carly carefully handed over her baby, Morgan, to his grandfather. She went to get Michael so he could visit with John as well and discovered that he was gone! She immediately burst into Sonny's office to tell him that Michael was missing!

Sonny immediately sprang into action...as did John. Of course, they did it in entirely opposite ways. Sonny called his men to comb the streets. John insisted on the legal route and wanted to call the police. The two men were soon at odds and began to fight. John appealed to Carly for support but she stood steadfast next to her husband, ordering John to leave. She trusted Sonny's judgement. John opened the door to find a battered looking Emilla there. She immediately collapsed and was taken to the couch...but she was faking it all hoping to get into Sonny's good graces. While Carly and Sonny tried to wake her, Cleo appeared and immediately recognized the witness. She explained to everyone that she had seen Emilla meeting with AJ, and that AJ had given her money. Emilla 'awoke' to protest but it was too late - the connection to AJ was made, her credibilty was shot to hell and they set off to find him.

The assumption that AJ was the one who had Michael was right on the money...although he was not the one who had taken him. AJ began to suffer blackouts in which an alternate personality, Junior, would appear. Junior had taken Michael for AJ. When Michael awoke he was scared and AJ regained control of his body. He was surprised to see his son there, and realized that they were trapped because of the storm. He decided to use the chance to get to know Michael better. But Michael wanted to go home, got upset and brought Junior back out. Junior informed the young boy that he was going to have fun with AJ, as Sonny, Carly, Cleo and John all raced to track them down.

Sonny, Carly, Cleo and John all ended up at the Quartermaine cabin where they were sure that AJ had Michael. Cleo tried to get AJ to come out while Sonny, Carly and John hid. Junior was in control of AJ's body and let on like he was AJ and invited Cleo in. As soon as she stepped inside, he grabbed her. While Junior was distracted by Cleo, Michael ran out. Sonny had to go in and get his daughter back despite John wanting to wait for the police. He ran upstairs and held a gun on the other man. Suddenly AJ emerged and was confused as to what was happening. This confused Sonny as well but before he could react Sonny realized the police were coming and decided not shoot AJ. He would let him be arrested.

Michael was reunited with his mother. Carly was overjoyed to have her son in her arms again. She held him close. When Cleo and Sonny emerged, Carly embraced him too, giving Cleo and Michael a chance to meet and talk. Everyone gave their statements to the police and the happy family climbed in their limo and went home. Carly rightfully fussed over her son, making sure he was warm and happy. Sonny was also relieved that the nightmare was over...Michael was home!

Meanwhile, John did not return with his daughter. The tense few minutes while they were waiting for Sonny to re-emerge gave John a chance to gain some ground with Carly and he wanted to make sure that his grandson's kidnapper was thrown in prison. He went to visit AJ and met Junior instead. Junior was angry at being locked up and made it known. John was not sure if he could believe AJ's claim. Rae Cummings showed up and immediately stood on AJ's side. She believed he had multiple personalities and made it her mission to prove it to the rest. She threatened to go see Sonny and Carly, leaving John to call and warn Carly. Carly bared Rae from the door.

While Carly was on the phone with John, Cleo and Sonny had another heart to heart about the entire situation. Sonny wanted to assure his upset daughter that no matter what, he loved her. After their talk, Cleo returned home where she talked with her godson Palmer. Palmer urged her to visit AJ, and she gave in and did. She and AJ talked without any of Junior's interference and she realized he was sick. They kissed but Cleo begged him to keep it quiet, not knowing how her father would react. As she left, Junior reemerged but Cleo was not frightened. She walked out with her head high and prepared to work at ReVamped.

Sonny returned to find Zander Smith in his living room. After a tense few minutes, Sonny agreed to help the young man. When he left, Carly expressed how proud she was of him, and Sonny merely shrugged it off. He wanted nothing more to than to spend some relaxing moments with his wife. Meanwhile, Michael snuck out for the second time. He wanted to go to Quartermaines and find out why AJ did what he did. He ran into Edward and Monica in the hospital. Monica wanted him to meet his little sister, Alana. But Edward was more concerned with why he was there without his parents' knowledge. Michael wanted to know what was going on between his family and the Quartermaines and Edward was more than willing to explain. The conversation ended when Sonny located him wayward son. Michael told Sonny straight out that he wanted to get to know the rest of his family.

Allyson found herself in Sonny and Carly's penthouse before she knew what she was doing. She felt a sense of loyality to her friends and she soon told them the truth - Luis was alive. She told Sonny that she didn't want to see them bring back their days of fighting. Sonny told her as long as Luis didn't go after his family he would leave things as they were. Relieved, Allyson called Luis to admit that she had told Sonny and Carly he was alive. She was convinced he would be angry but he didn't care...everyone knew now. He was more interested in seeing her!

Cleo was basking in the success of her first fashion show. She and godson Palmer celebrated first at a restuarant and then back at her penthouse. There she revealed she thought she might be pregnant. Palmer insisted that she take a pregnancy test. She did...and was shocked to discover that she was pregnant. She immediately was conflicted. Her first pregnancy had ended in miscarriage. But she was worried how her father would react. Not to mention the supposed father - her former boyfriend, AJ.

Carly was about to have one of the most shocking yet gratifying days of her life. While Sonny and Jax searched for Sam and Jason, she answered a knock on the door. A young girl stood there, and instantly Carly felt a connection. She revealed her name - Chloe Roberts. Carly could hardly believe her eyes. Standing before her was her daughter. Years ago she had been foolish and wound up pregnant. Not able to care for the child, she gave Chloe up for adoption. Her adoptive parents had been killed in an accident and she wanted to stay with Carly. Carly agreed - realizing that her father was also in town - Jasper Jacks! Chloe wasn't the only one that Carly learned about on this day - she also found out Devin Ross is her brother!

Chloe began to settle into her new home. She met a few new people - Colin Scorpio, Vincent Caine and Luis Alcazar. She admitted to Luis that she found him attraction and he was amused by her. When he realized that she was Carly's daughter, he knew he had a way to stick it to Carly. He agreed to walk Chloe home and as predicted Carly exploded at the sight of him. Chloe rebelled, proving she was indeed Carly's daughter. She insisted that she could choose her own friends and enemies and stomped upstairs. Carly flew in to Luis but he didn't care - although he felt guilty for using Chloe.

Carly realized that having a teenager was going to be challenge. But it was nothing compared to having to tell Jax that he was Chloe's father. Courtney was the first to realize the news. As Jax was her knew boyfriend, she hoped that things would work out between Carly and Jax. Carly carefully explained things to Jax who was shocked to learn that he had a daughter. He and Chloe met for the first time. Chloe know had a family - mother, father, half brothers and a half sister, not to mention a stepfather. Only time will tell how she will settle in.

The entire Corinthos household headed to the Vargos boat party where Carly and Courtney had a few words over Jax. Carly then turned around and spotted someone she thought was dead - Lily. She approached the woman who immediately rebuffed Carly's claims. She was Catalina and had never heard of Lily before. Carly insisted and went to find Sonny. Just as she approached her husband, Sonny caught sight of Catalina. He was sure he was seeing a ghost. He moved to the crowd to see her but as he got close the boat exploded separating the two of them.

After they got home safely, Sonny and Carly spoke about the mysterious woman. Carly was convinced it was Lily but Sonny was unsure. He had watched Lily die. How was it possible. Carly agreed but Sonny promised to look in on it. The next day the pair were in for another surprise. Robin showed up with Stone! Sonny was taken aback at his friend's miraclous return. Stone told Sonny his death had been faked and that he had been held prisoner. Sonny promised to look into who did it.
