Chapter 1
"Hello?" Jana asked into her cell phone with an annoyed tone.
"Who is this?" The voice on the other end asked.
"You called me, who is this?"
"Jana Catherine tell me that isn't fucking Shawn on the phone." Nikki, Jana's best friend, yelled from the bathroom of the hotel they were at.
"I don't know who the fuck it is." Jana replied.
"So it's Jana huh?" The voice asked with a laugh.
"Who are you?"
"Somebody."
"Fuck you. Seriously who the fuck are you? And how the fuck did you get this number?" She asked getting really angry.
"Damn you think maybe you could say fuck again?"
"Good bye." Jana yelled into the phone as she hung it up.
"Yo, Nick did you get a hold of that chick?" AJ asked as he walked into the hotel bedroom as Nick was hanging up his phone laughing.
Nick continued to laugh.
"What's so funny?" AJ asked.
"I just had the funniest conversation."
"Was it her?"
"No, I don't think so. Maybe, but whoever answered the phone was bitchy."
"What do you mean?"
"She kept asking who I was and how I got the number. What was I going to say? I'm Nick Carter and I kind of stalked you and found ouf what your cell phone number was just because my friend caught a glimpse of you or your friend in the mall and thought you or she was cute."
"Works for me." AJ replied with a smile.
"I should get something out of this."
"You can have her friend."
"Thanks." Nick replied sarcastically.
"So call again."
"How do I even know which one to talk to?"
"She had long red hair."
"And?"
"Just ask which one is that."
"You my friend are crazy."
"Duh! Now call." AJ replied as Nick dialed the number again.
"Hello?" Nikki asked cheerfully into Jana's phone.
"Who is this?"
"Nikki."
"Long red hair?"
"Yeah why? Who is this?"
"For one I'm hoping you aren't bitchy like the other one and two I'm calling for my friend. He saw you today and thought you were cute."
"So you called to tell me how Jr. High of you. How'd you get Jana's cell phone number? She really never gives it out."
"I have my ways."
"Ok then so you just called to tell me that? Thanks for me making me feel twelve again. Is he going to write me a note asking me to check yes or no?"
"No he wants to know if you'd be willing to go on a date with him kind of like a blind date I guess."
"I don't think so I'm only here for a few days visiting Jana."
"What about me? Who the hell are you talking to? That ass call again?" Jana asked walking over to Nikki.
"Tell her it's for you and not to get her panties in a wad."
"He says not to get your panties in a wad."
"He who?"
"What's your name?"
"Nick."
"His name is Nick."
"Well fuck you Nick." Jana yelled as she walked into the bathroom slamming the door.
Nikki could hear Nick laughing on the other end of the phone.
"She's a trip." He said in between laughs.
"Yeah."
"So back to the date thing AJ said bring your friend and we can double blind date."
"I seriously don't think Jana would go for that."
"Don't tell her make it a surprise. I'd like to meet the Ice Queen herself anyway."
"I guess I can try."
"Ok well here's the number at the hotel we are staying at 555-6269."
"What hotel are you at?" Nikki asked curiously.
"The one and only Holiday Inn."
"Seriously, that's where we are. Cause Jana's apartment was broken into."
"So we are at the same hotel?"
"I guess so."
"What room are you in?"
"Uhh... 5426."
"Ok bye."
"Ok bye? Wait, what?" Nikki asked as Nick hung up the phone laughing.
"Oh shit Jana is not going to be happy about this." Nikki said to herself.
Jana emerged from the bathroom ten minutes later her hair wet and wearing nothing but a towel. She looked at Nikki suspiciously who had a huge grin on her face.
"What did you do?"
"Nothing." Nikki replied avoiding eye contact.
"Yeah sure." Jana said as someone starting knocking on the door.
Jana walked over to the door, completely forgetting that fact she was in a towel, she opened it to see Nick and AJ standing there with huge smiles on their faces. She slammed the door in their faces and turned to Nikki who was sitting there wide eyed.
"Why in the fuck are there two Backstreet Boys at our hotel room door?" Jana asked.
Nikki shrugged and said, "I don't know. Wait they guy that called his name was Nick and his friend that thought I was cute was named oh my god." Nikki jumped up and quickly walked over to the door pushing Jana out of the way in the process. She opened it and smiled at the boys.
"You must be Nikki the nice one." Nick said as Jana glared at him.
"Yeah." Nikki replied smiling at AJ.
"Can we come in?" AJ asked.
Nikki nodded and they walked in looking around as they entered. Nick walked by Jana grinned at her and said, "Nice towel." In a deep sexy whisper that sent chills down Jana's spine. Jana glared at him again and stomped off into the bathroom.
"I'm so going to have fun with her." Nick said laughing.
"Be nice she could take you." Nikki said as they starting laughing.
"You think?" AJ asked as Jana came back out in pajama pants and a tank top.
"I think I liked the towel better." Nick stated with a smirk.
"Fuck you." She retorted.
"You're so ladylike."
She rolled her eyes in reply.
"So why are you guys at the Holiday Inn?" Nikki asked staring at AJ.
"Nick is promoting his solo shit and I came by to see him and then we went out and I saw you guys and yeah."
"Well isn't that special." Jana replied sarcastically.
"So are we going out tonight or what?" AJ asked Nikki.
"Excuse me what?" Jana asked looking at NIkki.
"They wanted to double date." Nikki replied with a smile.
"Hell fucking no."
"Why not?" Nikki asked.
"Yeah why not?" Nick asked with a huge pout.
"Cause you're a cocky bastard and I don't like you."
"For me please? No offense AJ but I'd like a friend to be there. I'd be more comfortable."
"I understand that's why I wanted Nick to come." AJ reassured with a smile.
"No." Jana stated firmly.
"Please?" Nikki started to beg and the other two joined in.
Jana rolled her eyes and said, "If I go then you have to go to the Simple Plan concert with me."
"Fine."
"But I really don't wanna go." Jana whined.
"You know you do baby." Nick said with a smile.
"Don't call me baby and you are an ass."
"So?" Nikki asked.
Jana sighed and said, "I guess."
"Thank you." Nikki said with a big smile.
"Yeah whatever." Jana replied as she sat down by Nick who was grinning at her.
"So we'll be here at seven." AJ said while the others agreed.
"You could wear that towel if you like." Nick said to Jana with a sexy smirk. She flipped him off in response.
"Ok before there is any blood shed we are going." AJ said walking to the door.
"See you later ladies." Nick said as he followed AJ out the door.
"I fucking hate you." Jana said glaring at Nikki.
"Sure you'll thank me one day because you know Nick is hot."
"And cocky as hell."
"Nice smile."
"Big ass."
"Gorgeous eyes."
"Yeah."
"Ha!"
"Oh shut up they are nice that's the only thing though."
"Uh huh sure."
