Kaitlyn jumped as she turned around her hand on her heart, “Jesus Christ you scared the shit out of me.”
“Nice lip action,” Kaylee replied with a huge grin on her face.
“You saw?”
“Hell yeah I was watching honey,” Kaylee said crossing her arms.
“I can’t believe you were spying on me.”
“I can’t believe you kissed him.”
“Well I saw that he was leaning in and I didn’t really want to kiss him but I had to do that instead of some full fledged make out session.”
Kaylee shook her head and said, “Sure, uh huh yeah I believe you.”
“It was the wine,” Kaitlyn said as she walked passed Kaylee and into her room.
“Sure blame it on the alcohol.”
“I’m serious I had way too much wine,” Kaitlyn said as she started to take her shoes off.
“Yeah, sure,” Kaylee replied rolling her eyes.
“I’m serious.”
“What did his lips feel like?”
Kaitlyn smiled and then quickly turned around so Kaylee wouldn’t see her smiling, “They were nice.”
“How nice?”
“They were soft.”
“Yeah?” Kaylee asked cocking an eyebrow.
“Yeah.”
“You are so into him,” Kaylee replied laughing.
“No way.”
“Yes way, you are smiling like an idiot. Don’t think I didn’t see you. And you remember way too much about the boy’s lips to not like him.”
“Ok fine it was nice. I had a nice time. He’s a nice guy. But like I’ve said a billion times before I have way too much going on in my life for a boyfriend. I don’t need all the drama a boy brings.”
“Ok whatever,” Kaylee replied as she walked out of Kaitlyn’s room shaking her head.
Chapter 16
“Well well well,” Kaylee said as she walked out of the living room and into the little hallway by the front door.
What have I gotten myself into now? Damn it I should just like I don’t even know… really. Ok I’ll admit it. Even though it was completely innocent, that kiss was rather nice and seriously my body was screaming at me to do more but I do have some self control you know. Oh man…
And now Kaylee had to see and she’s never going to let me live that down or what I told my mother. Ugh, my mother. I’d been kind of avoiding her. I need to tell her something. The truth. That would be a good thing right? Yeah, I know I really should. Uh huh. Ain’t happening I can see it already. Ugh…
So all in all I do believe that the date didn’t go to terribly bad. It was funny at Dairy Queen. The girl behind the counter so wanted to jump on Nick like white on rice I swear. And the she told us we made a cute couple, kind of freaked me out. Because we so aren’t a couple you know? So yeah…
I should go to bed. I have to get up early but I’m going to tell you a secret. My lips still feel a little tingly you know when your arm is asleep and it’s tingly? Yeah my lips kind of feel like that. Now I seriously feel like a little schoolgirl again.

Kaitlyn put her hair into a high ponytail on top of her head and then started to wash her face. She rubbed in the white cream onto her face as she stared at herself in the mirror and she couldn’t help the smiling forming once again. She shook her head as she leaned down to wash the face cream off. She patted her face dry and then grabbed her toothbrush; she started brushing her teeth and started to smile again. She shook her head laughing as she continued to brush her teeth.
Kaitlyn turned off the bathroom light and made her way into her room. She turned the big light off in her room and pushed her door closed halfway so there was a tiny crack of light from the living room shining in. She turned her bedside lamp off as she crawled into bed. She pulled her comforter up to her chin and let her arm rest outside of the cover. She laid there a minute staring at her wall once again smiling. She rolled over looking at the ceiling just letting the nights events run through her head before she fell asleep, smiling.
“Kaitlyn, come on baby get up,”
Kaitlyn moaned a little as she rolled over opening her eyes slowly coming face to face with a pair of gorgeous blue eyes, “Hey you,” she said with a smile as she stretched a little.
“Hey yourself.”
“What are you doing here?” Kaitlyn asked with a smile.
“I had to see you,”
“I see,”
“Yeah, I have a surprise so get up,” Nick said as he stood up smiling at her.
“Oh yeah?” Kaitlyn asked grinning as she stood up next to him.
“You’ll like it,” Nick replied as he leaned down kissing her passionately.
Kaitlyn pulled away from Nick and looked at him for a minute before she leaned back in kissing him with a little more force.
“Whoa now baby, you keep that up we won’t get to your surprise.”
Kaitlyn giggled as she gave him a quick kiss and then slipped on her thong sandals, “Ready.”
“You’re going like that?” Nick asked as he looked her up and down, eyeing her short pajama shorts and tank top.
Kaitlyn looked at her attire and said, “Yeah come on I love surprises.”
“You love me,” Nick said laughing.
Kaitlyn turned around and just winked at him as they made their way down the hallway quietly.
“Can’t wake up Kaylee I think she has a boy in there,” Nick said softly.
“Probably,” Kaitlyn replied laughing.
They made their way outside to Nick’s truck and Kaitlyn jumped in getting a little antsy. Nick shook his head laughing as he got in on the driver’s side, “Excited or something?”
Kaitlyn rolled her eyes as she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before he started the car and backed out of the parking space. “How come I get surprises so late at night?”
“I don’t know I was at home thinking about you and our night together and well I wanted to do this at the spur of the moment.”
“You’re so sweet.”
“Yeah, I try.”
“You really are.”
“I’m glad you can see that now.”
“I always had an idea.”
“Uh huh sure,” Nick replied rolling his eyes.
“So where are we going?”
“Somewhere?”
“Come on,” Kaitlyn started to whine a little.
“Oh no, no whining missy.”
Kaitlyn crossed her arms and looked out the window pouting for the rest of the car ride. “The beach?”
Nick just smiled as he looked at the clock on the dashboard, “Come on bear with me here.”
Kaitlyn sighed as she got out of the truck and walked to stand in front of it as she waited for Nick. “A blanket?”
“Yep,” Nick replied grinning.
“What are you trying to seduce me?”
Nick just wiggled his eyebrows as he took a hold of her hand and walked down closer to the shore, “Here we go,” he said as he laid the blanket out and then sat down patting a spot next to him for Kaitlyn to sit down.
Kaitlyn sighed and kicked off her shoes as she sat down next to him.
Nick wrapped his arm around her and said, “We have about fifteen minutes.”
“For?”
“The sunrise.”
“Oh yeah?”
“We’re going to watch the sunrise. It is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen especially when it’s reflecting off of the ocean.”
Kaitlyn just looked at Nick in somewhat of awe of him and how he came up with things like this. She always wanted a guy who could find some special out of the little things.
Nick looked at her and asked, “What? I don’t have anything in my teeth this time do I?”
Kaitlyn laughed and replied, “No you’re good now.”
“Good, cause that’s all I need to be embarrassed in front of you again.”
“What?”
“Well first it was the zipper then the food and well ya know just I felt like an idiot and you kind of intimidate me a little.”
“I do not.”
“Do so.”
“Ok, but I can’t help it. It’s not like I do it on purpose.”
“I know,” Nick replied grinning at her as he slowly leaned in taking her mouth kissing her intensely. He pulled back slightly from her sucking on her bottom lip a little and then took her mouth in his again as he put his hand on the back of her head and he felt her arms move around his neck.
Kaitlyn pulled back a little and then separated from him but not before she gave him a few small kisses, “Wow,” She said softly as she opened her eyes leaning her head against his.
“What?”
“Just wow,” She said laughing slightly.
“Yeah,” Nick whispered as he kissed her again. The kiss started to get more intense as she moved her to lie down and he moved to hover over her. He started to kiss down to her neck and then back up to her lips kissing her hard. Kaitlyn moaned into his mouth as she arched her back wrapping her arms around his neck tighter.
Nick let his fingers slowly move down her side barely touching her skin. He reached the bottom of her tank top and then slide his hands underneath it and pulled away from her lips as he pulled her shirt over her head. He leaned back down kissing her as he hands started massaging her breasts.
“Kaitlyn,” Nick whispered against her neck.
Kaitlyn just moaned in return as he fingers played in his hair.
“Kaitlyn.”
“Nick,” Kaitlyn moaned again.
“Kaitlyn!”
