There’s No Place like Home
"Wow, Tony you’re nice," Shane replied sarcastically.
"She is. She’s never had a boyfriend, she’s never had this much attention from a guy, and she has no idea what to expect or what should happen. And damn it what Nick has done isn’t suppose to happen. I know he’s just going to walk all over her and treat her like shit when he feels like it because she’s already proved to him that no matter what she’ll forgive him. Because she doesn’t know any better. And she’s already in too deep she loves him so she’s never going to break up with him or anything or listen to me. I just hope that it won’t lead to anything tragic."
"Damn dude why are you talking like that?" Shane asked sincerely.
"I’m just worried about her you know? I’m afraid she’s going to do something stupid or Nick will do something stupid. I don’t know I’m just scared for her. And now with our break coming up and shit I’m just worried that she’ll go and spend all the time with him and he’ll get her to go deeper and then she’ll be unreachable."
"Man, this is the first time you’ve ever really expressed your feelings like this."
"This is the first time that I’ve truly been worried about her," Tony replied looking at Shane with a scared look on his face.
"Dude, she’ll be alright."
"That’s the thing I don’t think so. Madison isn’t that strong of a person. She’ll let people walk on her and not say anything her mother is the perfect example."
"I don’t-,"
"Hey guys guess what we are going home tomorrow." Madison said cheerfully as she walked into the room.
"Yeah, I get to see Todd. I miss him but he’s going to move in with me."
"Uh, Tony you do realize you share that apartment with me don’t you?" Madison asked putting her hands on her hips.
"Yes, but I didn’t think you’d really care."
"Of course you didn’t." Madison replied and walked out of the room slamming the door behind her.
"What’s her problem?" Tony asked Shane while Shane just shook his head sighing.
"I love her and all but damn she’s dumb."
"My plane is delayed again. It won’t be until 2pm before it takes off."
"Are you tired?"
"Yeah, I’ve been here since six in the damn morning."
"Awe, well I’ll be picking you up so I’ll be the first thing you see hopefully."
Madison smiled as she looked around at the other passengers as she bit her bottom lip. "Guess what."
"What?" Nick asked acting excited.
Madison laughed and said, "Todd is going to be moving in with Tony."
"Don’t you live with Tony?"
"Yep, sounds like fun huh?"
"Tons."
"I’m not really looking forward to it. Good thing I’m not going straight there with them."
"Well, maybe you should just stay down here with me."
"I planned on staying with you until you went back into the studio."
"I know but I think you should… move in."
Madison sat there with her mouth gaping open. Needless to say she was rather shocked. Nick just asked her to move in with him? Definitely not what she was expecting, not even close to what she was expecting.
Nick chuckled and asked, "Madison are you still there?"
"Uh, yeah."
"So? What do you think?"
"About what?"
"Moving in with me."
"I’m not sure."
"Alright that’s cool you don’t have to decide right now."
"Ok."
"Well me and Aaron are going to go out to eat and then I’ll call you when we get back to see if there were any changes. Alright sweetie?"
Madison smiled. "Yeah have fun."
"Alright bye."
"Bye," Madison replied smiling.
"Dude you asked her to move in with you?"
"Aaron what did I tell you about eavesdropping?"
"You taught me how to dumbass."
"Yes, I asked her to move in with me."
"Have you told her you loved her yet?"
"No."
"Don’t you think you’re doing it backwards?"
"No."
"Alright dumbass," Aaron replied as he walked out of the room snickering at the fact that he called Nick a dumbass twice and Nick didn’t hit him.
"What you don’t think it’s a good thing to do?" Nick asked Aaron walking out of the room.
Aaron looked at Nick confused and then put his hand on his forehead making sure he didn’t have a fever or anything. "You feel alright?"
"Yeah why?"
"You’re asking my advice."
"I just want to know what you’re thinking."
"Same thing."
"So?"
"I think it’s a bad idea. 3 months and you’re moving in together? It just doesn’t sound like a smart thing but you know you never do smart things so it’s right up your alley."
"Thanks Aaron you’re so much help," Nick retorted sarcastically.
Aaron grinned proudly and said, "Anytime bro."
"I want to go with you."
"No."
"I want to go with you."
"No."
"I’m going to go with you."
"No."
"I’m not going to go."
"No."
Aaron looked at Nick surprised, "No?"
"You little shit. You’re not going with me."
"Why not? You two going to make out in the car or something?"
"Aaron you’re not going end of story."
"Mom!"
"Aaron."
"Mom, is it cool if I go with Nick to pick up his woman?"
"Sure. Nick doesn’t need to go by himself anyway." Jane replied from the kitchen.
Nick glared at Aaron while Aaron just grinned as he walked outside to the car.
"I will hurt you." Nick muttered as he got in the car.
"Yep, that’s why I’m enjoying it while I can," Aaron replied grinning while Nick started to laugh.
"Where is she? Is that her?"
"Aaron will you stop damn?"
"I’m excited."
"There she is," Nick said nodding towards Madison as she started to walk over to them smiling.
"That’s her? She don’t look the same."
"Maybe because she’s in regular clothes and has no make up on. I think she looks beautiful."
Aaron looked at Nick disgusted and said, "You’re an idiot."
Nick pushed Aaron a little and then started to walk up to Madison.
"Hi," Madison smiled as she hugged Nick.
"Hey," Nick replied as he pulled away from her to look at her and then he leaned down to kiss her.
"I missed that too," Madison said laughing.
Nick grinned at her and grabbed her hand and started to walk over to Aaron.
"This is Aaron come on let’s get your bags," Nick said as they started to walk passed Aaron and over to baggage claim.
"Alright," Madison replied laughing as Aaron pouted.
"It feels so good to be home."
"Yeah?"
"Oh yeah."
"Did you think about staying with me?" Nick asked as he stopped walking and looked at Madison.
"Uh huh," Madison replied biting her lip slightly.
"And?"
Madison nodded and then leaned in to kiss Nick passionately.
