What’s Up Lonely?
"It’s like every time I see you I’m always saying good bye to you." Madison said sadly as she stood close to Nick in the airport.
"It’s ok, we’ll see each other soon and then it’s going to be for a long ass time." Nick replied smiling at her.
She smiled back at him and said, "Yeah, you’re right."
"Hey," Nick said as he put his finger under her chin lifting it up to look at him, "smile it’ll be fine-."
"Hey, hey time to get on the plane baby girl." Tony said as he walked over to Nick and Madison, "Say your goodbyes and I love yous and then let’s go. I have no one to play with on the plane but you darling."
Madison looked over at Tony, "Where’s Todd?"
Tony sighed and said, "He had to go back to school."
Madison pouted a little at Tony and then looked back at Nick. "Bye." She whispered.
"Bye." He replied kissing her gently on the lips.
"Come on, did you bring any toys for the ride? We’re going to be two lonely people for a whole damn month." Tony said as he drug Madison by her arm to the gate as she smiled back at Nick.
"Hey sexy man."
Nick gave Aaron a look like he was crazy as he walked into the house, the next day.
"Yo, how long you staying? Got enough bags here?"
"It’s three."
"Got all your ‘materials’ in this one?" Aaron asked as he lifted the heaviest one.
"What the fuck have they been feeding you lately?"
"Huh?"
"Huh?"
"What?" Aaron asked dropping the bag and looked at Nick.
"What?"
"Ok enough with the little game. Geez… so how long you staying with me?"
"A long ass while."
Aaron groaned and then looked up at Nick grinning.
"What’s that for?"
"Nothing can’t I smile at my favorite brother?"
"I’m your only brother dumbass."
"Never know mom could have been a whore."
"Aaron!" Nick said slapping him upside the head.
"What?" He asked innocently as he rubbed his head.
Nick shook his head and then walked out of the room. "Where is everybody? Why do they leave you alone?" Nick asked from the kitchen.
"They trust me?"
"Ha, seriously?"
"I don’t know mom never tells me shit."
"Aaron I swear I’m going to kick your ass."
"Oh come on man like you never said anything like that when you were my age."
Nick stood there searching for a witty comeback but he had nothing.
"Ah ha! Gotcha!"
"Shit head." Nick mumbled as he grabbed a bottled water out of the refrigerator.
"So did you confess your undying love for your hot girlfriend yet?"
"No, and who talks like that?"
"The people on the soap operas." Aaron replied grinning.
"I’m going to pretend like I didn’t hear that." Nick said as he walked passed Aaron and back into the living room.
"So you don’t love her?" Aaron asked curiously as he sat down next to Nick on the couch.
"We’re not talking about this."
"Fine. Do you have any pictures of her?"
Nick looked at Aaron weird and asked, "Why?"
Aaron shrugged, "Just wondering."
Nick shook his head as he started flipping through the channels and stopping on MTV where Y5’s new video was playing.
"Oh my god. Damn," Aaron said and then quickly moved away so Nick wouldn’t hit him, "how could not be in love with that? I’m in love with that."
Nick rolled his eyes and then looked over at Aaron staring at the TV with his mouth gaping open.
"I miss Todd."
"I miss Nick."
"I really miss Todd."
"I really miss Nick."
"Oh my god, will you two shut up?" Jake snapped at them from the other side of the room.
"Really you two are horrible. It hasn’t even been a full two days since you saw them and you’re already looking terribly pathetic." Shane said as he sat down across from them.
"Yeah." Jake replied as he stood up and walked out of the dressing room.
Madison looked at Tony and asked, "Do you think we are terribly pathetic?"
Tony sat there a minute thinking and replied, "Yep we’re pathetic."
Madison looked at him with wide eyes. "How could you say that?" She asked as she hit him lightly on the arm.
"It’s true my dear." He said as she stood up and walked out of the room.
"I’m not pathetic." Madison stated as she leaned back crossing her arms.
"That’s right you’re not pathetic just lonely. Right?" Shane replied grinning widely at her.
"I’m not answering that." Madison replied sticking her nose in the air.
"Then I take that as a yes."
Madison looked at Shane and glared at him as she leaned over to pick up her cell phone.
"Calling him already?"
"No."
"Uh huh sure."
"I’m checking my voicemail."
"Why? Hasn’t your phone been on?" Shane asked cocking an eyebrow.
"Uh huh." Madison replied as she dialed her password to get into her voicemail box.
"Have you called him already?"
Madison bit down on her bottom lip and said, "Maybe."
"How many times?"
Madison sat there listening intently to her phone trying to avoid looking at Shane and answering his question.
"More than once?" He asked amused.
Madison hung up her phone after hearing she didn’t have any new messages.
"Two?"
"What?"
"How many times have you called him already?"
"Four." Madison mumbled underneath her breath.
"What was that?" Shane asked even more amused.
"Four."
"Damn."
"Shut up."
"Pathetic."
"Lonely."
"Same damn thing." Shane replied laughing.
"What are you doing?"
"Turning my phone on to check my voicemail I forgot that I left it off."
"Oh, you already missing your woman?"
Nick grinned a little and replied, "Maybe."
"Its cool dog I would be too if she was my girl."
"Aaron look in the mirror you’re white."
"Burn!" Aaron replied as he flopped down on the couch right next to Nick.
"Yo, there’s a whole other part of a couch down at that end, get up off me."
"Nope, you make me feel safe." Aaron replied batting his eyelashes at Nick.
Nick rolled his eyes as he set his phone down.
"No calls from her?"
"There was but I wasn’t going to listen to them while you were here."
"Oh I see what kind of messages they are now."
"What kind?"
"You know the dirty kind."
"You’re an idiot."
"And you’re pathetic."
"Shut up." Nick replied slapping Aaron upside the head.
"What you are."
"Am not."
"Alright you’re just lonely right?"
"Aaron." Nick said pointing his finger at Aaron.
"Hey don’t hurt me I may hit you back or something and you might need that right hand later." Aaron said before he ran off away from Nick.
"Aaron!" Nick replied as he jumped up and started running after Aaron.
