Let’s Party Baby
"So where is Madison? She not showing up for her own party?" Shane asked Tony as they sat at the bar of the club, where their release party was.
"I don’t know she should be here any minute, with a surprise." Tony replied grinning.
"What kind of surprise?"
Tony grinned at him and looked around the room. "Well I’ll be."
"What?" Shane asked looking at Tony strangely.
"Look who’s here." Tony said nodding in the direction of Nick.
"Well I’ll be damn, wonder why he is here?"
Tony looked at Shane and said, "Someone is here to see our little Madison."
Shane shook his head as he took a drink of his beer. "You’re not right my friend."
"Holy shit."
"What?"
Tony pointed to Madison as she walked into the club.
"Is that her? Look at everyone staring at her not to mention Carter."
"It’s like in Grease when Sandy changes at the end and they’re all shocked and shit." Tony said as he continued to stare at Madison as she walked over to them.
"What?"
"Never mind."
"Hey guys." Madison said as she approached them.
"Hey."
"What?"
"You look amazing; the hair, the make up, the clothes, damn." Shane said as he looked her up and down.
Her hair was now a little shorter than shoulder length with auburn streaks. She had dark eye make up on, with glossy lips. And she topped it off with a killer outfit, a short leather black skirt with a dark blue shirt that revealed a little bit of her stomach.
"Yeah, you do look good. Those shoes are hot." Tony said looking her up and down as well.
"They hurt." Madison said looking down at her feet.
"Yo, earth to Nick." Mike said waving his hand in front of Nick’s face.
"What?" Nick snapped.
"I’ve been talking to you for the last two minutes."
"Sorry." Nick replied as he continued to watch Madison talk to the guys in the band. He couldn’t tear his eyes away from her. He knew she was beautiful that was a given but tonight she was beyond that. When he saw her walk in, something clicked inside of him and he saw her in a different way. There were feelings there. Feelings he had never felt before. Feelings that frightened him. But nonetheless, he had developed feelings for her. Was that possible?
"Yo, Nick."
"What?" Nick snapped angrily.
"Dude what crawled up your ass?"
"Nothing."
"Uh huh sure." Mike replied sarcastically and then walked off.
Nick looked over at Mike as he walked off and then he started to walk over to Madison.
"Yeah, I really like you’re hair." Shane said as Madison took a sip of her drink.
She smiled. "Than-."
"Hey Madison."
Madison stood there frozen as soon as she heard him. Tony grinned at her and finally she turned around. "Hey Nick." She said smiling.
"You look great." He breathed as he looked her up and down.
Her cheeks grew warm and pink rapidly as she stood there under his gaze. He stared at her in awe. She noticed that it was a different stare. A stare that didn’t make her as uncomfortable as usual. "Thanks." She finally managed to get out.
He looked at her and smiled a real genuine smile.
"How come you are here?"
"I wanted to see you, surprise you."
Madison smiled. "I’m flattered."
"Want to go for a little walk with me?" Nick asked as he offered his hand to her.
She smiled at him and then looked back at Tony who was giggling. "Sure." She replied grabbing his hand and walking off with him.
"So how does it feel to have released your first album?" Nick asked as they walked outside to a small garden area.
"It’s amazing. I can’t wait to find out how we did."
"You probably did better than you think."
"What makes you so sure?" Madison asked smiling at him.
"I bought a few." Nick replied laughing as they sat down on a bench.
"What?" Madison asked laughing lightly.
"Yeah, couldn’t resist."
Madison shook her head and said, "That’s cool, Tony and Shane went and bought a couple too."
Nick laughed as he looked around at the other people out there and then back at Madison.
"What?" Madison asked when she caught him staring at her.
"What?"
"What are you looking at?"
"You." Nick replied softly.
"Why?"
"You’re beautiful." He whispered as he began to lean in towards her.
Madison leaned in towards him as she closed her eyes. Nick put his hand on the side of her face when their lips touched. He began to kiss her softly as he put his other hand on the other side of her face. Madison moved closer to Nick, growing more confident, as she deepened the kiss.
Nick pulled away from her and looked at her as she sat there with her eyes closed still smiling. She opened her eyes and smiled at him.
"What was that for?" She asked as Nick’s hands were still on her face.
"I couldn’t resist." Nick replied shrugging.
Madison laughed a little as Nick removed his hands from her face.
Nick stood up and offered his hand to Madison. "Come on it’s time to party baby."
Madison laughed as she grabbed his hand as they walked back into the party.
"Damn, did you see the way that boy kissed her?" Tony asked Shane as they stood by a window spying on Madison and Nick.
"Yeah, he has technique." Shane replied.
"They’re coming back I don’t think Madison will be too happy to find out that we were spying."
"Probably not."
"Come on." Tony said as he grabbed Shane’s arms and quickly walked back over to the bar where they were before.
"What happened?" Jake asked as they approached him.
"They made out a little bit."
"Nice."
"Man I want to be her. Look how they are dancing now." Tony said sighing.
"You are so retarded." Jake retorted as he took a drink of his beer.
"Fuck you- Oh my look at that fine piece of man. I’m going to introduce myself." Tony said as he walked off towards the guy that just walked passed him.
"You know all your boys are staring at us." Nick said in Madison’s ear as they danced.
Madison started laughing and then looked over at Shane and Jake. "Yeah, they are nosy like that."
Nick nodded and pulled Madison closer to him as they continued to dance. Madison grinned at him as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"She is so digging him." Shane said to Jake as they watched Nick and Madison dance.
"Yeah, I don’t think I’ve ever seen her so comfortable with a guy like that." Jake said while Shane nodded.
"Wonder where Tony went." Shane asked Jake as he looked around the room.
"Who knows?" Jake replied shrugging.
"Whoa, there’s definitely some tongue action going on with them two." Shane said as he pointed at Madison and Nick.
"We’re going to have to give her shit later." Jake said grinning.
Shane looked at Jake and grinned even wider. "We’re evil."
