Chapter 16
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
"It’s not quite fair to say we left early because we really didn’t, ok like two days." Tony whined as they sat on the plane heading back to the states.
"Stop whining." Jake mumbled from the seat behind him.
"I mean its false advertising, saying we’ll be leaving early and we don’t I could sue."
"Stop whining." Jake mumbled.
"And damn it I broke a nail." Tony said looking at his nails.
"Tony!" Jake snapped scaring Tony.
Tony turned around. "Yes my darling?" He asked batting his eyelashes.
"Stop whining." Jake said glaring at him.
"Ok." Tony replied cheerfully and turned back around.
"Talk to your lover boy today?" Tony asked looking at Madison.
"I don’t know what you’re talking about."
"I know you two have been talking secretly for a while."
Madison looked at Tony weird and said, "Not secretly."
"So have you talked to him today?"
"Yeah, for like two minutes and then we had to leave for the airport."
"And one would think you’d be a little happier about that."
"I’m confused." Madison replied sighing.
"I know we are confusing huh?"
Madison nodded.
"So what’s so confusing?"
"I don’t know." Madison said as she sighed heavily.
"That’s no help."
"I know, maybe it’s because I’ve never really talked this much to a guy before so maybe I’m just being paranoid and weird about it."
"Maybe." Tony said shrugging.
"Do you think he’s just trying to get some?"
"What?"
"Well, my mother-."
"Oh stop it, I know what you’re going to say and don’t say it. Your mom is on crack and always has been she is one crazy lady. Don’t listen to anything she says."
Madison started laughing and said, "I remember you telling me that when my mom gave me the sex talk."
"Yeah, the shit she was telling you was totally fucked up."
"Yeah, but seriously-."
Tony put his hand over Madison’s mouth and said, "No, don’t listen and don’t think about it. Ok?" Madison nodded and he let go of her mouth.
"You’re serious about this?" Madison asked as her and Tony walked into the spa.
"Damn skippy I’m so getting me a pedicure and manicure and my hair done." Tony replied giggling a little as they walked up to the front desk.
"I should have known huh?" Madison asked looking at him.
He grinned at her and nodded.
"So what do you girls, sorry… you two want to do first?" The lady at the front desk asked looking up at them.
Madison shrugged and said, "I don’t care."
"I have it all planned out my dear. First, massages. Then, manicures and pedicures and then a mud bath because they just look fun. And then the steam room and last but certainly not least a make over." Tony retorted excitedly as he grinned at Madison nodding frantically.
Madison shook her head laughing as they followed the lady. "You’re embarrassing." She whispered to him.
"Psh… girl you know you wish you could be like me."
"Yep, that’s it." Madison replied sarcastically.
"So why were you mad at me?" Tony asked Madison as they sat in the salon area getting pedicures.
"I wasn’t mad at you." Madison replied softly.
"Uh huh… sure."
"Seriously, it’s nothing forget about it."
Tony cut his eyes over to Madison.
"What?"
"Just trying to see if I could read you or not. Tell if you are full of shit."
Madison started laughing and went back to flipping through her magazine.
"Oh my god listen." Tony said as he tilted his head to the side trying to listen to the music playing softly.
"What?"
"I just wanna love you babe!" He sang in a high pitch voice.
"Oh my god, you so did not just sing Justin’s song."
"Uh huh." Tony replied grinning.
"You’ve betrayed Nick." Madison said with wide eyes.
Tony shrugged and said, "Oh well he wants you, I’ll take Timberlake. He’s second best. Plus he is single now; I could call him for a pillow kissing session."
"How could you compare the two? And what makes you think he might want you?" Madison asked cocking an eyebrow.
Tony just shrugged as he continued to sing along to the song.
"Traitor." Madison mumbled as she continued to look at her magazine.
"So what do you want to do today?" The overly obvious gay hairdresser asked Madison as she sat down.
"Uh, just a trim I guess." Madison replied shrugging.
"No, she’s getting it cut and layered and add some color to it too. Like red, red would look fantastic with her color brown." Tony said from the chair next to her.
The hairdresser stared at her in the mirror for a while and then said, "I agree, it would look marvelous."
"Ok." Madison replied hesitantly.
"Seriously Maddy you’ll look great." Tony said reassuringly.
She glared at him for using the nickname she hated and said, "I trust you Tony." As the stylist walked away from her.
He grinned wide at her and then looked back in the mirror as he got his tips frosted. "You know, that guy is the reason why people make fun of gay guys. He’s like Jack off of Will & Grace and I’m Will."
Madison looked over at Tony laughing.
"What?"
"You are no Eric McCormack."
"That hurts." Tony replied as he put his hand over his heart acting hurt.
"I’m sure." Madison said as she continued to laugh.
"I could so be Will; Will is like the king of gay guys. He’s my idol."
"What are you talking about?" Madison asked confused as the stylist walked back behind her and began to comb her hair.
"Nothing forget it girl."
"Fine."
"Seriously why do I have to walk around with this on my head?" Madison asked as Tony and she walked around looking for an outfit to wear for the release party.
"Because."
"Don’t you want to see it?"
"Yeah, but I can wait. I want to be surprised along with everyone else at the party."
"Yeah right, later tonight you’ll be begging me to take this off of my head. It’s so gaudy." She replied looking in the mirror at the wrap that was on her head.
"It is not."
"I feel like Erika Baydu."
"Whatever. Oh my god, girl you should wear this." Tony replied holding up a very small and revealing dress.
"Is that your definition of sex goddess? Because I think that’s my definition of slut." Madison said as she eyed the dress up and down.
"You don’t like?"
"Did you not hear what I just said?"
"Nick would probably like."
Madison rolled her eyes and walked off.
"So what is going on with you two?"
"What do you mean?" Madison asked softly as she continued to look through the dresses.
"Well at first it seemed to me that you despised him and now you’re talking to him on a regular basis. Is he growing on you?" Tony asked grinning.
Madison smiled a little and then quickly covered it up when she looked at Tony. She shrugged and said, "I don’t know."
"You don’t know my ass, he is. Isn’t he?"
"Maybe." Madison replied smiling.
"You are so in love with him."
Madison stopped and turned around to look at him. "What?"
"Or not." Tony replied after seeing the look on her face. "Just a joke don’t get all bitchy on me now."
"I’m not bitchy." Madison replied defensively.
"Ok." Tony replied sarcastically as he walked to another area of the store.
"I think I found the outfit I want." Madison said as she walked over to Tony holding a black skirt and a baby blue silk shirt.
"That shirt looks like it’ll be tight on you, you should get a medium."
"This is a medium." Madison replied.
"Oh."
Madison stared at the shirt and then back at Tony and sighed before she stormed off putting the shirt back.
"What was that about?"
"Nothing." Madison mumbled as she looked through the shirts.
"You should get that shirt."
"No, I’m too fat for it. I’m too fat for everything I like."
"What? Where did that come from?"
Madison shrugged as she walked passed him into the dressing room.
Tony looked around confused. "Am I the only one confused here?" He asked as a sales lady walked passed him laughing.
