Chapter 12

This is Awkward

"So you have everything right?" Tony asked Madison one more time at the airport before she boarded the plane.

Madison sighed looking at Tony annoyed. "Yes, mother."

"Ok." Tony said as he hugged her.

"Bye." Madison said as she kissed his cheek and turned around walking towards the terminal.

"I also put some condoms in your bag you know just in case." Tony shouted to her right as she handed her ticket to the lady standing there.

Madison looked back at Tony wide eyed. He waved at her grinning as she rolled her eyes and walked into the terminal.

Madison flopped down into her seat next to the window sighing. She looked out the window and then around looking at the other people who were finding their seats. She leaned her head back closing her eyes trying to clear her mind and calm herself down.

"Hi." Someone said cheerfully as they flopped down next to her.

Madison slowly raised her head opening her eyes, eyeing the bubbly blonde. She gave a weak smile and turned to look out the window.

"I know you don’t I?" She asked as she tried to look Madison in the eyes.

Madison looked back at the girl, she couldn’t be more than eighteen years old and she was gorgeous; she had the figure Madison would die for, she studied her for a minute and then said, "I don’t think so." Madison began to look back out the window.

"I do, you’re Madison Lewis the lead singer in Y5 and now you’re Nick Carter’s new girlfriend."

Madison snapped her head back to look at the girl. "What did you say?" She asked cocking an eyebrow.

The girl laughed and said, "I said that you are Madison Lewis the lead singer of Y5, might I add that I absolutely love you guys and also that you are Nick Carter’s new girlfriend."

Madison leaned her head back groaning.

"I’m Sasha by the way." The girl said as she crossed her legs and began to bounce her right leg off of her left one quickly.

"Yeah." Madison mumbled as she covered her face with her hand.

"So can I ask you something about Nick?"

"What?" Madison looked at the girl like she was crazy.

"I just want to know something about him." Sasha said grinning.

Madison sighed as she leaned her forehead against the window and began to bang her head on it slightly.

"God, it’s not like the size of his dick or anything geez." Sasha said leaning back.

Madison groaned again she knew this was going to be one hell of a flight.

"And then I found him in bed with my so-called best friend, one the night of our one year anniversary. He had forgotten about it, of course he always forgot about that stuff. But of course I always remembered you know because we girls always remember stuff like that right? Anyway, they were fucking in my bed on the new sheets I bought and like they didn’t even feel like they had to explain. They thought I would just accept that you know. Granted, I was cheating on him with one of his friends, but it was different." Sasha rambled on a few hours later.

Madison stared at the top of the plane, with her head leaning against the seat. She wanted to strangle Sasha, she was worse than Tony. She wouldn’t shut up.

"So like three weeks later he came back and was like baby I’m so sorry forgive me it was only a one time thing. I told him I had to think about you it you know; I did love him and all. So I took him back."

"Surprise surprise." Madison mumbled.

"And now here I am all by myself pregnant going back to live with my ex fiancée. I knew he really didn’t stop everything with her but when you love someone so much you never want to believe they would do something to hurt you. Right?"

Madison sat up and looked at her. "I wouldn’t know."

"What do you mean?"

"I’ve never been in love."

"Oh, well it’s true. When you do fall in love you’ll feel the same way. Like when Jordan hit me a few times I always blamed myself and I just didn’t want to believe he was hurting me because he liked to, it was my fault. I did things to make him mad. And he did tell me the reason he acted that way, because I was his first love and it scared him the he loved me so much. And he didn’t know what to do with himself sometimes. So he got paranoid, afraid that I would leave him, and suspicious of everything I did. The funny thing about it though, I didn’t know he loved me until after I left him the fourth time. Last week, when I decided I had to get myself away from him. Because I was on the verge of committing suicide and I really didn’t want to do that, because I’m pregnant but he never said he loved me until I said I was leaving, he said he loved me for a long time." She paused and looked down at her stomach. "How was I supposed to know?"

Madison stared at Sasha feeling slightly guilty, she had been ignoring her basically the entire flight and she turned out to be the complete opposite of what she had thought in the first place. Madison didn’t know what to say, she wanted to say something but what? "How far along are you?"

"Only two months." She replied smiling at Madison.

Madison smiled back.

"You think I’m fool don’t you?"

"Huh?"

"For staying with him so long, you think I’m a fool?"

"I didn’t say that. I just think no one should be treated that way."

"I know but the look on your face makes me think that. I know I am a fool for staying with him for so long. But he was different," She laughed. "They are all different in the beginning. He was the only one I could say I truly loved with every part of me. And I was afraid, plain and simple, I was afraid of him. Afraid of the things he would have done if he knew I told someone. It really sucks being completely terrified of the only person you ever truly loved. I don’t think I would wish that upon my worst enemy." She said staring at her hands.

Madison stared at her, completely speechless.

Madison stood in front of Nick’s hotel room door, she hadn’t knocked yet and the longer she stood there the more doubts she started having. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door lightly.

She shifted her weight from one leg to another while she waited for Nick to answer the door. The longer he took the more Madison got worried. Maybe he had a girl in there, or he didn’t really want her to come.

The door swung open, interrupting her thoughts, and Nick stood there grinning at her. "Hey." He said looking her up and down.

"Hi." She replied as she looked around.

"Come in." Nick said as he opened up the door wider letting her in, he watched her hips as she walked into the room.

Madison walked in looking around the room she sat down and said, "This is nice, all of our hotels suck compared to this."

Nick chuckled and sat down beside her. "They just had this little brief news thing and they said they were going to talk about us." Nick said.

"What?"

"It’s Entertainment Tonight, it’s not on yet but they had a little snippet, teaser type thing and they said they were going to talk about us."

Madison nodded.

"So did you have a nice flight?"

Madison shrugged and said, "I have a very interesting conversation with the girl next to me. She started out to be this big ditz, but when she started talking about her ex-boyfriend she changed. She seemed more mature or something. She was talking about how he was hitting her and she always went back to him but now she’s pregnant and she finally left him."

"Damn, guys like that piss me off. I would never hit a girl."

"Good to know."

Nick looked over at Madison grinned at her and then looked back at the TV. "Here it is."

"And reports of the lead singer of the new band Y5, who is about to release their debut album, Madison Lewis and Nick Carter, once Backstreet Boy now solo star, have been seen spotted together at quite a few different places. Our sources tell us that they are indeed a couple. Madison was seen getting off a plane earlier tonight in Las Vegas, the same city Nick is in now. Sources from both parties were unable to comment on this issue."

"Hm… interesting."

Madison cut her eyes over to Nick and asked, "What? What’s interesting?"

"All that." Nick said as waved his arm around in the air.

"Oh, it doesn’t bother you?"

Nick shrugged, "I’ve gotten used to it. Why does it bother you?"

"Kind of. I just don’t want a bunch of hate sites up about me and death threats and shit. You’re fans scare me." Madison replied, as Nick started to laugh.
