Nick quietly walked in the house setting his things by the door and then slowly and quietly made his way upstairs. He walked in the bedroom and watched Jana sleep for a while. He smiled; never in his wildest dreams could he imagine being with someone so long and still be so much in love with them. He closed the bedroom door, stripped down to his boxers and crawled into bed beside her.

Jana moaned as he wrapped his arm around her pulling her closer to him. "Hi baby." He whispered as he kissed her forehead.

"Nick." She whispered wrapping her leg around his.

Nick laughed. "Did you miss me or something?" He asked as she opened her eyes.

"I missed having this nice big comfy body next to me for me to hold on to." She said smiling seductively.

"That’s all I am to you? A sex toy?" Nick asked acting hurt.

Jana leaned in kissing him slowly. She pulled away, "Yes." She said laughing.

"Thanks." Nick replied pouting.

"Guess what?" She asked as she put her arm on his chest and started to lazily draw circles on his chest.

"What?" He asked smiling down at her.

"We’re going to take a vacation, just me, you and bed." She said wiggling her eyebrows.

"Oh yeah?"

"Uh huh, Nikki is going to watch the kids."

"When are we going?"

"As soon as possible." Jana whispered as she brought her lips back to his kissing him intensely.

Jana felt around the bed next to her but felt nothing but sheets. She groaned as she got up and headed downstairs. She smiled when she saw Nick playing with the kids.

"Morning." Jana said when she reached the bottom of the stairs.

They continued to scream and play. She looked around the room then walked into the kitchen to see Nikki sitting at the table with her forehead on the table.

"Something wrong?" Jana asked laughing.

"You’re kids plus Nick, equals hell to me someone who enjoys sleep."

Jana laughed. "Yeah the guest bedroom is right by the stairs therefore you hear everything."

Nikki looked up at Jana glaring at her. "I know." She said with her teeth clenched.

Jana laughed then walked over to the refrigerator.

"So are you and Nick really going to go away?" Nikki asked when Jana sat down across from her.

"Yes, we are." Jana said grinning.

"Excited?"

Jana just grinned.

"When are you going to go?"

"As soon as possible." Jana replied as she started to laugh.

"Where do you want to go?"

Jana shrugged and said, "As long as there’s a bed I don’t care."

Nikki started laughing and said, "Don’t plan on leaving the room?"

Jana just shook her head ‘no’ as she continued to laugh.

~September 2003~

"This is beautiful." Jana breathed as they walked into the hotel room.

"Have I told you today how beautiful you looked?" Nick asked as he walked in behind her.

Jana turned around smiling. "Only about a hundred times."

"Well you looked amazing today, that dress, you’re hair, the make up, everything and damn girl you looked hot." Nick said walking closer to her wrapping his arms around her waist, kissing her gently. They pulled away staring at each other in silence.

"We’re married." Jana said breaking the silence as her forehead rested against his.

"I know, and you’re pregnant." Nick said moving his hand up to rest on her belly.

"It’s weird."

"Yeah." Nick replied laughing lightly.

Jana looked up at Nick and stared into his eyes. "I love you." She whispered.

"I love you." Nick said leaning down to kiss her intensely as they slowly made their way over to the bed.

Jana walked into the family room to see Nick playing Barbie’s with Alyssa. She started to laugh. "What are you doing?" She asked as she sat down by them.

"Playing Barbie’s mommy." Alyssa said.

"Oh excuse me." Jana said laughing.

"Duh!" Nick said grinning at Jana.

Jana rolled her eyes. "Nick, tomorrow night me, you, a plane, on our way to Hawaii."

"Huh?" Nick asked confused.

"Well talk about it later." She said looking over at Alyssa and then back at him.

"Ok." Nick replied laughing.

"You two have fun now." Jana said as she walked out of the room.

"So you decided on Hawaii?" Nikki asked Jana later that day.

"Yeah, because our honeymoon was in the Bahamas and I’ve never been to Hawaii so that’s what I chose."

"Well ok then." Nikki said smiling.

"We’re going to leave tomorrow night and stay all week." Jana said smiling wide. "You sure you’re going to be ok with the kids for that long?"

"Of course."

"Of course what?" Nick asked looking between Jana and Nikki as he walked into the room.

"I was just making sure Nikki was going to be ok for a whole week with the kids."

"A whole week?" Nick asked smirking at Jana.

Jana nodded and said, "In Hawaii, since I’ve never been there."

Nick nodded as he sat down by Jana putting his arm around her. "Sounds good to me baby." He said kissing her forehead.

"Good because you didn’t really have a choice in the matter." Jana said smiling sweetly at him.

"Thanks." Nick said acting hurt.

"Well you’ve been everywhere." Jana reasoned.

"I’m just playing." He said smiling.

"You two make me sick."

They both looked away from each other and looked at Nikki.

"What?" She asked looking at them.

"There’s a whole bunch of other rooms you can be in besides this one." Jana said while Nick started to laugh.

Nikki rolled her eyes as she stomped off into the other room.

"That was mean." Nick said as he leaned in to kiss her.

"Oh well she’ll get over it." Jana whispered against his lips kissing him slowly.

"Daddy, will you play a game with me?" Trenton asked as he walked in the room.

Nick and Jana separated quickly and looked at Trenton. "Sure buddy what do you want to play?"

"Nintendo." He replied with wide eyes.

"Ok let’s go." Nick said as they walked in front of the TV sitting down.
