"So here we are with the Backstreet Boys, who are about to release their very last album ever. No more Backstreet, ever. It’s good to see you guys." The host of TRL said looking at them.

All five of the guys nodded and smiled.

"You guys have had one hell of a career, why stop now?"

"We’re getting old." Brian said with a smile.

"Yeah, we just want to be with our families now. Wake up at noon during the week or something, just be normal." Howie said.

"Well you guys have been around longer than anyone ever accepted. Lots of your fans came out today, most of them are terribly sad. So when does the new album come out?"

"Sometime in April, our anniversary is in April so we thought we started it in April might as well finish it in April." AJ replied.

"Well, I’m sure everyone here is looking forward to that. Now we have a few fans in the audience who want to ask you guys a few questions." The host said as the guys nodded and he made his way to the girl in the audience.

"What do you want to ask the boys?" He asked them moving the microphone so she could ask her question.

"This is for Nick, I was just wondering if there was any news about Trenton?" The young girl asked sweetly.

All the guys shot each other worried looks and then back to Nick. It had been almost a month and there was no progress on finding Trenton. It was wearing Jana and Nick down and even Alyssa began to ask more questions. Nick stood there thinking about what he should say or if he should say anything at all.

"I know it’s probably hard for you but all you’re fans are concerned. And Trenton and you and Jana are in our prayers." She said interrupting Nick’s thought process.

Nick smiled weakly at her. "Thanks." He said softly, "and truthfully nothing has changed it’s all the same." He frowned a little as he looked down.

"Ok, let’s take a break and when we come back a new video from J. LO."

"Are you ok Nick?" Brian asked coming up behind him and putting his hand on his back.

Nick nodded then looked up. "Yeah." He said quietly and then walked off the stage.

Jana ran into the kitchen to get the phone just before the answering machine picked up. "Hello?" She asked out of breath.

"Mrs. Carter?"

"Yes."

"This is Officer Martin, I have some good news."

"Yes?"

"We found Trenton."

Jana smiled and immediately began to cry. There were so many questions she wanted to ask him but her tears were preventing her from doing so.

Officer Martin chuckled and said, "They are on their way back now if you want to come down to the station to-."

"Ok, I’ll be right there." Jana said before he could finish his sentence.

"Ok." He said laughing.

Jana hung up the phone and ran upstairs into the guest room to get Nikki. "Nikki, oh my god Trenton they found him come on let’s go I’m going to get Alyssa." Jana said in one breath when she ran into the room.

Nikki looked at Jana like she was crazy but then jumped off the bed and followed her to Alyssa’s room.

"So, we are going to see Trenton?" Alyssa asked from the backseat.

Jana nodded as she tried to dial Nick’s cell phone number again. "Damn it." She said when his voicemail picked up again.

"Mommy!"

"Sorry baby." Jana said as she laughed lightly.

Nikki laughed and shook her head and then went back to staring out the window.

"Nikki?"

"Yeah?" She asked looking back at Jana.

Jana handed her, her cell phone. "You try; just keep trying until he picks up."

Nikki laughed and said, "Ok."

Nikki dialed the numbers and let it ring.

"Hello?"

"Nick?" Nikki asked as Jana cut eyes over to her.

"Nikki, what do you want? Is everything alright?" Nick asked worried.

"Uh… well they found Trenton; we’re on our way to see him."

Nick was quiet, he was shocked and happy and everything in between. He stood there in his hotel with his mouth wide open.

"Nick?" Nikki asked laughing a little.

"What happened?" Jana asked keeping her eyes on the road.

"Uh… he’s in shock or something."

"Are you serious?" Nick asked finally finding his voice.

"Yes."

Nick started jumping around the room screaming while Nikki sat on the other end of the phone laughing hysterically.

"What?" Jana asked confused.

"You’re husband has lost his mind. He’s screaming and shit, I bet he’s jumping around too."

Jana smiled as she continued to drive to the police station. "Ask him what time his flight is."

"Nick, what time is your flight?"

"Huh?" He asked, not hearing her because he was screaming.

"What time is your flight?"

"Oh…eight."

"Eight." Nikki said to Jana, and then Jana nodded.

"So I’ll be home hopefully by ten or something like that. Right?"

"I don’t know."

"Ok… well you’re no help. But that’s ok because I have my son back." Nick said smiling wide.

Nikki laughed and shook her head. "You’re crazy Nick."

"Yeah well that’s ok, but I have to go. Tell everyone I love them and I’ll see them tonight."

"Ok, bye." Nikki said as she hung up the phone.

"Is he happy?"

"Happy would be an understatement."

"I’m nervous." Jana said as they pulled into the parking lot of the police station.

"Why?"

Jana shrugged. "I don’t know I just am."

"Don’t be." Nikki said putting her hand on Jana’s shoulder.

Jana rolled her eyes as she got out of the car. She got Alyssa out and they walked into the police station straight back into Officer Martin’s office.

"Ah… Mrs. Carter good to see you." He said smiling warmly at her.

"You too, where’s Trenton?"

He laughed slightly as he got up and said, "Follow me."

They walked down a long hallway and stopped in front of a door. "He’s in here. Now I warn you now, he was in an abandoned house all by himself tied up. So he’s might look really bad to you but we’ve had him checked out by the hospital and he’s fine, just sore and dirty."

Jana swallowed hard and nodded.

Officer Martin nodded to her and then opened the door. They walked into what looked like a lounge or something and there was Trenton sitting on the couch eating some chips and watching cartoons. Immediately Jana began to cry when she saw him.

"Mommy!" Trenton squealed as he looked up to see Jana standing there. He jumped off the couch and ran over to her.

Jana kneeled down putting Alyssa down next to her and opened her arms as Trenton ran to her and hugged him tight. She began to cry even more as they rocked back and forth.

"I missed you so much mommy."

"I missed you too baby." Jana whispered as she stroked his hair.

"So, where was Shawn?" Nikki asked Officer Martin.

Jana continued to hug Trenton but tried to listen to Officer Martin’s reply as she was hugging him.
