This is my new years vow.  I'm to do a lot of dog walking with Nova. This will extend her stride and get rid of that little illegal hop she occasionally takes.  I'll work on jumping over a small jump to get flying lead changes and ride bridleless.

That's the 2010 goal!

Nova and I reached World Grand Champion Fame.  My horse, Velvet with her rider, Nichole Copple, won two World Grand Champion awards at the Missouri Fox Trotter World Celebration.

I now have the most beautiful buckle in the world. World Grand Champions get buckles.  That's one of the rules of the universe.

Here's what I have figured out so far about a buckle.

You need jeans with belt loops.  Whoops, I've been buying jeans without beltloops for years.  I have loved my elastic waist Walmart jeans.

Here's another thing  I figured out.  You need a belt.  I bet it's been 20 years or more since I even thought about a belt.  ugh..belts.

So, I set out to get jeans with belt loops.  Curvy Cowgirls can now find stetchy jeans with belt loops at Walmart. These things actually fit me!

I bought a belt this last Friday. We mounted my World Grand Champion belt buckle on the belt! 

Here's another something I just learned.  We curvy cowgirls like to hide our body underneath long flowing shirts.  Well, the belt buckle doesn't show up when it's hidden underneath a long flowing garment.

I have to wear a shirt and tuck it in for the belt buckle to show up.

GAD! This is a whole new life for me.  My body is coming out of the closet!  I need long sleeved shirts for winter jean and buckle wear!
