May 13 -14
These kids were swimming and playing a game with a ball on a stick. We joined them shortly after, the water was amazing!

These three kids posed for a picture for me. The girl on the right is Jimmy's granddaughter.
More sunset shots, but they don't do it justice!
May 14 - I got up early and took a photo from the loo - an incredible view!
We started our first full day in Utanlang with a bush walk with Phillip, led by Jimmy. First we walked through the village to the road

A typical home. Walking through the village reminded us that we were in a 3rd world country.

These dresses on the line are known as "Mother Hubbards". ALL of the ni-Vanuatu women wear them. They were brought in by the missionaries and thus are designed to be big and shapeless and cover a lot of skin. They are usually adorned with ribbons on the sleeves and ruffles on the hips. Even little girls wear them!
