Park Clean-Up
"Connecting Youth, Parents, and Community in Ray County, Missouri"

Up

On April 1, 2000, Clover Connections members met to clean up Siloam Mountain Park, as well as East Valley Park and Isley Park Woods.  Members picked up the charred remains of the vandalized playground equipment at Siloam Mountain Park and then trudged through underbrush along the banks of the Fishing River in East Valley Park and Isley Park Woods to retrieve trash and old tires.  Approximately eight to ten large garbage bags full of trash were picked up that afternoon.  Afterward, club members ate pizza at Little Caesar's.

"You carry the bag, and I'll point out the trash to you..."

"Honest, I didn't eat the canary..."

Share The Trash (jpg) Sneaking Up (jpg)

"I'll share my trash with you,
if you go get the tire..."

"And if I walk real quiet, maybe the trash won't notice..."

"Santa Claus" (jpg) What Now? (jpg)

"Here Comes Santa Claus..."

"And you want me to do what with it?"
