I want always to be able to say,
That Jesus and I are the best of friends;
I want a relationship with Him,
That will never ever end.

Jesus is the best friend one can have,
He saved my soul and set me free;
He is always by my side,
He helps me grow and still be me.

He loves me just the way I am,
But He will continue to help me grow;
One day I want to be like Him,
He's the God I really want to know.

I have come to love my Savior,
And one day I will see His face;
A face that is filled with love and compassion,
His greatest desire is to help me through life's race.

Jesus and I are the best of friends,
He wants to be your friend too;
He wants you to have the best life,
So go to Him, He already loves you.
