If you have a KLR650, and you havent moved your tag up yet, you should.
I crunched my tag a little before I moved mine. It only takes 1 good jump, and the tag gets crunched or worse. I have heard of others that have had their rear fender ripped off while jumping, because of the tag getting caught in the tire. So move it up!

I moved mine up and it covers the reflector, but the light still shines on it.
If you have one of the big tags like in other countries besides the USA, you might have to drill new holes in the tag. But at least you will still have your tag after a long ride through the forest.
