MY Personal Concern on the HIV/AIDS Illness

Rain Severely Cuts AIDS Walk Revenue AIDS Walk St. Louis was badly affected by the storms which swept through the area on May 7. The rains significantly reduced attendance and Walk revenues are down by 30%! The Walk is the largest HIV/AIDS fundraiser in the region and 16 agencies rely on the monies it generates. As it stands, we are on the verge of having to make substantial cuts in funding for HIV/AIDS services. Our grants to these agencies are made in June, so timing is critical if we are to provide the level of funding we had planned. With your help, we will bridge this unexpected gap and meet this crisis. Your support is always important but, now more than ever, it will make a difference! Please do what you can. As always, we are so grateful for our family of supporters! I learned to love and let them live to the fullest
and also learn to love and let go when they needed to say goodbye
Being a VietNam Era Vetern, and being faced with death at age 18
I could only roll up my sleeves, and dig into the forces of teaching others
Regardless of race,or creed, or culture, LOVE was so incrediably important
To begin to win the fight of this illness....
So I hope to find a link to every year to landmark the importance of this day...
