"So, do you guys have a record label yet?" I asked as I searched for my purple back-pack.
"Nope, not yet, we've tried to get one, but so far, we've been rejected or we've done the rejecting. But our hopes are still high." Jess answered as she put some lip gloss on.
"Well, have you tried Mercury Records?" Ike asked as he got his hat and sun glasses out of her bag where we had put them earlier.
"No, we want to send them an indy CD but we don't know where their offices are!" Lolo answered.
"Well, actually, they're only about 3 blocks from here! If you want, we can call them and set up an appointment for you!" I answered as I sat on the couch. Jess was sitting on the arm rest of the same couch.
"Yeah that'd be great!" Jess answered.
"Okay, here, hand me that phone on the desk behind you." I said to her. So she got up, grabbed the cordless phone, handed it to me, and sat back on the arm rest.
I dialed the number and the phone began to ring.
"Hello, um, I would like to schedule an appointment for a group called Diamond Bay to perform for your company." I said to the lady on the other line.
"Okay, we have an opening for today in 20 minutes. If you give me your name and the group name again, I will have an executive ready for you." The lady said.
"Okay, my name is Jordan Taylor Hanson and the group is Diamond Bay." I replied.
"Okay, we look forward to hearing you! Good Luck!" The lady said. Then I hung up and told everyone the good news! And soon we were all packed up and ready to go. Ike called for 2 cabs and we went down stairs to wait for them. They came just as we got out side. Once again, it was Hanson in one, and Diamond Bay in the other. Ike gave the driver the address for the building and then hopped into their own cab and soon we were off.
