MMMBopin' Miracles Chapter 35

Soon, we reached the familiar driveway of my home, and we pulled in and parked. The other bus parked accross the street. We all got up and stretched, then made our way off the bus and to the side to get our bags. The driver came over and unlocked the compartment, and we got our bags off and set them on my lawn. Binkies said good bye and hugged everyone and went next door to her house. Then I grabbed my bags and started walking to my front porch.

"Hey, can we help you?" Tay asked as he, Ike, Zac, and Mackie ran to catch up with me. Then Tay grabbed my duffel bag and Ike grabbed my back pack and Zac grabbed my plastic bags, and I was left with Gus and his bag. He only had a little back pack full of his doggy supplies.

"You guys have 5 minutes until we have to leave okay!" Diana hollered from the bus with Zoe in her arms with Avie and Jessie at ther side. I took my house keys out of my pocket and unlocked the door. We all walked in, me and my caravan of Hanson's, and we walked to my room and I asked them to set my stuff on my bed. Then did so, and we all walked into the living room and sat down on the two couches. I noticed that the answering machine was blinking, there was one message in waiting. So I pressed the play back button and the tape rewinded. Then the message began,

"Jessica, this is dad, I'm down at the city hospital. Your mom's been in an accident, we want you to come down as soon as you hear this. Hurry." my dad's worrysome voice rang out through the room. I stood there, totally scared and feeling alone. Then Tay came over to me and put his hand on my shoulder.

"Come, on, I think that your dad needs you now." he said, snapping me back into reality. I nodded and I weakly called Gus to my side. He was still wearing his leash, so I grabbed his leash, but it fell from my hands, so Tay picked it up for my, and we all ran back outside and I locked the door, then we hurried over to the bus and sped off to the hospital, while I explained the message to Walker and Diana on the way.
