MMMBopin' Miracles Chapter 29

After "More Than Anything" was finished, Zac and Tay ran back out with huge water guns! I think that they had another reason for having us sit so close to the stage besides being nice, because we were very ofter targets in their "random" water spraying! By the time they ran out of water, we were dripping! So we put our Gap jackets on for about 5 minutes before the warm air warmed us up again because that water was COLD! Then another unexpected action, Tay was playing the drums! Now, we knew that this was coming, but it was so much cooler durning the show! Because there he was banging away on the drums while Zac was still squirting the audience!

Then after the last of the water was gone from Zac's gun, and they started my favorite song, "I Will Come To You". As soon as they started playing, I already had tears in my eyes. The way they sang this one, was just to sweet, I felt like I was the only person in the stadium and they were singing it only for me. It was great. By the tme they were in the middle of the song, Diana had to hand me a tissue because my cheaks were streaming with tears! It was kind of embarrassing, but oh well. Then Binkies and I took a few pictures with the rest of the roll, in addition to the 5 rolls we had already taken of the concert. She was crying too so this served well as a cover up for our red eyes.

When the song ended, we used our water bottles, poured some water on a tissue and wiped our eyes to make the redness go away, and eventually it did and we were okay again. As soon as we finished, simultaneously, they started "A Minute Without You", so throwing our bottles on our chairs, we jumped up and resumed dancing, jumping, and screaming.

The song was quite true, when I'm thinking of Hanson There is "One thousand, four hundred, forty four hours in my day!" ANd I coudn't help but tell Binkies and laugh at my remark.

After "A Minute Without You", they broke out into "Man From Milwaukee"! Then we held up a little poster with a big Alien face on it that we made the hour before we went out on our walk a couple hours a day. Then they played a tad louder and smiled at us. We smiled back and jumped up and down with our little sign and screamed through out the whole song.

The song ended they left the stage and the crowd screamed for more. But we sat down, letting our feet collapse under us and we relaxed, exhausted from all of our antics. When they came back out, we felt revived and ready for more hyperness and Hansonness.

"Summertime Blues" was the song they started and everyone started dancing and singing. I didn't know the words though, but I tried! Binkies knew only two words- Summertime Blues! So I helped her out with the parts I knew. The deliciously hyper song ended quickly and they wrapped up the concert with an acapella version of "Weird" in which the audience practically caused a wave of tears! It was earilly good and haunting in it's sadness and outcast lyrics. People started waving their lightsticks and lighters, so we joined in with our lightsticks and when I turned around, all I could see, were waving arms and glowsticks. It was beatutiful. And for once, the crowd was silence, paying respect to Hanson and this, haunting accapella "Weird". But as soon as it ended, the screams resumed as they said their good byes and thank you's and ran off stage to a waiting bus that would drive around for a while till everyone had cleared out, and return to the Hollywood Bowl for the night.
