MMKBopin' Miracles Chapter 27

Soon after we were done looking at all of our stuff, and the stage crew had put up a black sheet over the stage, and the sun had set, the lights focused on the stage, and we heard the familiar sound of Ike's guitar. Then, the music started and the black sheet dropped, and Hanson who was already there with their instruments, started playing "Gimme Some Lovin'". And all at once, there was a giant uproar from the crowd and everyone was singing and screaming. The people were all rushing to the gate trying to get as close to the stage as possible. But since we were in the front row, we didn't have to climb over anyone, so we jumped up and leaned against the baracade and started screaming and singing again. Then we took out our silly string and began spraying it over the stage, Tay shot us a smile and we laughed at ourselves. The song, not familiar to everyone, but they still tried to follow along. Soon the song ended and they spoke out to the crowd.

"Hello! And welcome to the Albertane tour! Now, there are a few rules at a Hanson concert, first of all, you can't sit down! And you can't sit still!" Tay shouted over the crowd. Then they began Thinking of you.

Their voices echoed out from the huge speakers to the left and right of us and the Hollywood Bowl rung with the sounds of pure energy.

They finished "Thinking of You" and began "Where's The Love" with Isaac's awesome guitar chords. I love the way that they were playing this song, it was now more rockish and it got everyone on their feet again and they were dancing to this live version of this hit single.

The song ran long but it seemed too short for all of us. Then "River" started. "And I guess we'll never know, exactly where this river's gonna flow, and I guess we'll never understand, until we reach that promised land. And I guess we'll, I guess we'll never know!" The lights flashed here and there in awesome colors, while these guys with cameras on their shoulders ran unnoticeably over the stage every once and a while. And these cool images flashed on the wall on the background while they played the song from 3 Car Garage and the crowd screamed their adoration for them. The atmosphere was perfect, the humid summer warmth with a breeze bristling our hair, the great music of our heroes, and all of the fans and the colors, my mind was spinning! It was just perfect.
