Good news for us on this day
November third 2009
these results a cat scan did find
heres what the Dr had to say
theres no spread of cancer as of today

Which leads us here to the Chemo Clinic
at the great Durham NC VA
and what more can I say
they treat you here like you`re "Class A"

As we sit here in our chemo chairs
were attended by skillful Nurses
bright and smiling they arrive in pairs
to double check the meds we will bear

We know its their job and must be done
we also know they really care
their caring smiles are like a ray of sun
and in some ways make this sort of fun

Your calming effect on this ole duffer
helps so to ease these side effects I suffer
you provide a welcome buffer
and make my will to continue chemo a lil tuffer
