"C"

Now I take a six month ride
the next thing in the curing scheme
is to install a port into my hyde
so the Chemo can easily flow inside of me

Dr Rhodes and Dr Rao
will carefully monitor the flow
to end this cancer`s chance to grow
this surely will be a tough row to hoe

Perhaps information, from this trip, will grow
and the Oncologists can better know
how to effectually treat others that follow me
and help them to be rid of the Big "C"

I just have to be up to the task
as I travel this six month road
my uneasy feelings are hard to mask
as the side effects begin to unfold
I am hopefull the months will go by fast

It will be great to hear sometime in May,
that starting with the surgeons incision
and the Chemo treatments for many a day,
as Dr Rao and Dr Rhodes proclaim one fine day
we have placed this cancer into remission
