Weight Lefting

  • I still remember at the age of 15 I joined a Fitness club because I use to drive my Mom crazy running around the house and leaving my weights around. Brother's & Sister's Weightlifting is a must. I cannot insist enough for this kind if physical fitness. Weight lifting if done the right way can help you Get your body in shape faster, keep your bones stronger, keep your lungs going, keep your stress level low, keep your mind healthier, keep your inner organs in healthy shape and last but not least it will keep that unwanted fat off for good. Remember weight lifting is such a blessing from Allah that you burn fat even as you sleep . Weightlifting can do it all if you do it right and that's the key.
  • I suggest you talk to your doctor on what be best for you. For the majority of the Muslims Alhumdulila it can be pretty easy.     Martial Arts

  • As a little kid I remember the legends like bruse lee, Chuck Norise and in my teenage years, outstanding actor/ martialartist like Vandamme and Segal but I never remember anyone that was a Muslims Martal Artist. When ever I went to train I always remember to bow to the flag and to our teachers. I also remember how Martial Arts glorifies the Buddhist munks. Not to say they are not peaceful people but in Islam We have that kind of discipline and we can also do much more for the sake of Allah with it. Martial Arts are a must for kids and brothers and sisters. It can help you be more flexible by stretching out and helps built confident and coordination. It helps you to give something to others. If your going to learn Martial arts from NonMuslims please keep few things in mind.

  • One) explain to them nicely that you cannot bow because you can only bow to Allah.

  • (Two) let them know that you cannot train with the opposite sex or shake hands.

  • Alhumdulila now days they do have all women self defense Classes and all men martial arts schools so try to find one in your community. Once you learn it then implement Islam in to it like Zikker and Try to make it a habit to pray 2 rakath Nafil before you go and learn.
